I am sure that depends on whether he finds another job in baseball after this. Also a lot of managers get fired pretty quickly.
Trembley, Perlozzo, and Mazilli only got one chance to manage. Hinch was the worst manager in the Arizona franchise history. If he didn't succeed with the Astro's he probably doesn't manage again. I think there is a high incentive to cheat for a manager. Especially with teams paying less to managers these days. Buck could afford to be honest as he multiple managerial jobs and had been paid a high salary at those positions.
I think it’s going to be pretty tough for him to get another managerial job, but perhaps he finds himself on a staff down the road.

Perhaps a fan could, but why would he/she? It’s not worth the time. There is no consequence to the poll.
You’ve inspired me to do a poll here. Coming next.
I’ll get my script ready.

Reading Les Miserables in French sounds more fun than me translating Cicero's speeches and the Bible in Latin class like I did.
I took both Latin and French. Three years of both. I loved learning about speech techniques from the Roman Empire. I do want to go back and revisit mythology.

The only book I was forced to read in high school that I liked was Catcher in the Rye. I read The Scarlett Letter in high school and hated it. Read it in college and liked it.Didn’t get to read Les Miserables until much later. Probably wouldn’t have liked it at that time.
Our assigned reading in American History was Killer Angels and The Jungle. Two excellent books. I remember those more than our American Literature assignments. Didn’t like Scarlet Letter or Catcher in the Rye.
We read segments of Les Miserables in French class. I enjoyed that too.

I’d like to see Springer’s case go to arbitration and have the Astros argue, “Dude, we literally told you what pitches were coming. Your numbers are inflated.”
Not really, I like Springer.

If you don’t mind me asking, what percentage of your final salary is your employer’s pension contribution.
In other words, if you made $100 in your last year does your employer pay you $20, $50, $100 each year in retirement?

That call is newer, a player’s safety thing. May have been this season when they started it.
I’m all for player safety improvements, but it’s really difficult to understand how to play as these rules are applied so inconsistently.

O’Brien looks lost on the sidelines.

Stefanski to the Browns. That’s all of the open positions.

Henry is like three feet taller than Ingram.
Lamar needs to work on his rush defense.
-
So if they do score on their first possession, you trot Tucker out there, right?

Well hopefully the o-line can wake up. Going to be tough down Ingram and Andrew's, that's a lot for any team to deal with.
I saw Andrews in there on that last drive.

Get the ball to start the second half. Score here. Score there. Take the lead.

Why did Minnesota punt down three scores in the 4th? Give up move.

Can still get it into the stadium for less than $200.

To my high school baseball coach, consider yourself served.
Very entertaining read.

You won’t find MASN on YouTube, Sling, or Hulu. (As of now) Big10 maybe available. I know with Sling you can pay $5 extra and get a bunch of the college networks.

You didn’t mention the Chiefs spread but it’s 10.
The Packers are only 4 point favorites. Home field Is worth 3. So the game is basically a coin flip. Otherwise I’d agree to go with the chalk.
I didn’t pick against the spread for the 49ers game. Texans were only getting 9.5 when I looked.

I remember when this happened. Isn't H Street gentrified now? I haven't been to the city since maybe 2013.
I’m not sure. I don’t make my way into NE too often.

How does one cash a portion of someone else's check? Just one corner of it?
They have to be equal portions. So if you are getting one fifth of someone’s check, it needs to be cut in five equal pieces. Give it a try and report back.

Once I started pulling down MLB paychecks no way I would go to the DR in the offseason.
Jose Guillen’s girlfriend was robbed in DC after cashing a portion of his check.

I didn’t really know what it was about going in. I need to read up on Hoffa and the Teamsters.

No, I don’t think he’d hire Hinch if he gets another GM job. There’s nothing special about him. It’s a non zero chance that the could reunite, but I wouldn’t put it much higher than that.
