  1. I'd honestly rather see him vs both, there needs to be a bigger sample than 28 days to see if he can make the adjustments back, but I'm certain Hays will get time against LHP.
  2. I'll always have fond memories of Gibbons waddling to the mound with a look of disgust on his face when he went to pull a pitcher.
  3. Right, I'm not saying he's been a net zero all year, but since April 15th he's been quite bad with the bat, I mean, we all watch the games and see the same thing the numbers show. Hopefully, he adjusts to all of the changeups he's getting fed, because in protecting against them he's just been behind on almost all of the fastballs he sees and flicking them foul.
  4. I've always been dubious of Stuff+ because it doesn't account for command at all. No matter how good a pitch is, even if it can't be thrown for a strike, Stuff+ will still love it. (I'm looking at you Fujinami)
  5. Now he'll hit 4 HR's and I'll curse you from my island paradise.
  6. I feel like he does most of his damage in Toronto. He always talks about how great the batters eye is there. His OPS at Rogers Center is 1.046 for his career.
  7. Gunnar's avg exit velos are down a bit from last month. He was at 96.4 for most of April.
  8. He's got a 38 OPS+ in that time with a .564 OPS. His defense is carrying his WAR right now. I'll stand by my statement that his bat is atrocious, right now. Since April 15th his WRC+ is 68, and his K% is 35.4%.
  9. It's been pretty atrocious for the past 30 days, really. He's been one of the worst hitters on the team for a month.
  10. He'd be my DFA candidate. I don't care if he's a LHP that throws 96-97. He doesn't strike people out or miss bats.
  11. This is what the DBacks do. They score a ton of runs in one game, then do nothing for two weeks.
  12. Yep, and he's looking for it so he's late on every fastball.
  13. Past 28 days Cowser is slashing .183/.281/.352, OPS of .633
  14. The masterclass against Cowser is clear. He can't sit fastball so he's late on every one and he's looking changeup every pitch and not making good contact.
  15. He gave up 5 runs last year against us, I think the team knows he's not.
  16. Sorry, not trying to start trouble but it was put on a tee.
  17. Sunny and 82 degrees, with no humidity. How is your island?
