1. I don't see anyone on this list I would overpay for, which is why we have not signed any of these. I would think everyone wants more than what we gave Gibson. If we trade, we need a player with team control for a couple years. Again, we are forced to overpay in a trade. By the way, I would love to see Grayson on the mound on opening day, or at least the home opener.
2. Earl’s pesky influence & note cards combined with Mejdal’s analytical department would propel our players to excel beyond expectation. They would have to allow Earl to smoke in the dugout as well as maintaining the Camden Yards tomato patch.
3. Let him get developed further. There’s not a need to have him in Baltimore this season unless he forces the issue. It would be nice if we have a Larry Walker type manning RF for the second half of the 2020’s.
4. Awesome player slowed down by the injury bug. I saw him torch the AA Phils pitchers one evening in Reading. I will always remember his age since he was born during the '83 World Series.
5. His numbers don't say roster spot, but there he is. I look at how Watkins kind of figured out how to remain in a game for five innings at times.
6. Chris Vallimont continues to occupy the 40 man. Is he a sleeper for this season?
7. Nice! Furthermore, I'm hoping I will never have to refer to him as Dick Hall. That would not be a reference to our glory years.
8. I wish he would consider going with Dayton Layne Hall. It feels like a bad "O"men having a D.L. on our staff.
9. Here’s a pipe dream…Mullins & Mateo for Logan Webb as stunned fan base tries to heal.

Zac Lowther 2022

He needs a Holt reset. His command is injured.
11. At home, the "pound the zone with larger left field" has produced nice results with the pitching so far.
12. Grew up in Phils country. Went to many games at Reading and watched Bowa, Boone, Schmidt, Sandberg, Luzinski, Andre Thorton, etc. (plus Tommy Underwood, Jeff Stone LOL..fast legs/slow mind, etc.) It was a bummer that the Orioles did not have an affiliate in the AA Eastern League in the 70's & 80's. Anyway, the only team on TV in the late 60's (besides "Deron Johnson" & the Phils) were the Orioles. I had to watch them on "UHF" channels 15 & 21 with Bill O'Donnell & Chuck Thompson...and since the 3rd baseman shared my first name, I was forever hooked at the age of 9.
13.

Hey Wayne...I just noticed your friend request from a long time ago...I'm still trying to figure this stuff out...I mainly read with an occassional post. Anyway, you're now officially a friend, & a belated Happy Birthday to you ! One of these days I'll get to Bowie. I'm not happy about the realignment last year, with the Baysox only coming to Reading once. I notice they open at Harrisburg this year...I'll meet you there...contact weams & we'll have a party !
