I think this misses the mark. I think Rubenstein is having fun and attempting to connect with the fanbase. This is a breath of fresh air especially after prior group was silent and dismissive of the fanbase in general. I love it and appreciate that rubenstein is having fun.

My understanding via knowing someone who has tried to do business with MASN. Is that MASN was very much micromanaged by prior ownership at some level. That nothing allegedly could of been done without some sort of approval at a very high level. And as of result of that they don't get a lot of good programming allegedly. -
If Angelos is selling the team and backlash is already starting building against what John is demanding for a lease renewal. I don't expect the state to give up land that he wanted to build essentially orioles baseball village. Especially with rumor structure deficit state budget will have in next few years.

David Rubenstein specifically is who I think SG is referencing and that could be Carlyle group reference. And there has been rumors he has been eyeing up a franchise locally last year or so.

That part could be bunk. I cough this could be a game of telephone with the facts. But I mean wouldn't shock me if they are sold.

This may add a small amount of smoke. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-08-24/who-will-buy-the-washington-nationals-david-rubenstein-ted-leonsis-weigh-bid?embedded-checkout=true

It was reposted in another twitter thread team is estimated to be worth around 1.6 billion. It's entirely possible that the boys could be struggling with money and may be looking to sell while the team is a known good commodity and ontop of the Carylye group David Rubenstein was trying to buy Nationals allegedly last year. I mean I'd take things with a huge truck load of salt but its possible that things are moving in a direction where the team gets sold.

I have a feeling Elias isn’t going anywhere soon. If he does then John needs to be seen by a doctor. If they won’t spend money on free agents no damn reason they can’t back brinks truck up for executives and home grown players.
-
He is due to be back on air allegedly the 11th.

Doubt it affects the team on field. If anything them playing may quiet the talk down

Never fail to see the ownership somehow find a way to bumble something positive into a negative. Really wish MLB found a way to force the Angelo’s family out
