    If he retires he gets nothing for any of the remaining seasons. He'd still get the deferred money from seasons already completed.

    I've wanted him gone for years. But it isn't my money and I can see why, for financial reasons, the sons would want to hold onto him if they can't come to some sort of buyout.

    Compared to if they had cut him during last season. If they had he'd still be owed the entire amount. What if you cut him now and a another wave of the virus kills off half of 2021?

    He put up a 758 OPS in Norfolk with juiced balls over 257 PA. He had a great month in 2019, not a great season.

    The O's gave him a QO and he turned it down. Then they signed him anyway. I'm just curious if Trumbo would have signed with another team before the next draft.

    Has Sisco's defense hurt the O's at all this year that anyone has noticed? Has it been worse than Severino's? It's not that big a factor.
