  1. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Hear the Astros are going hard to get one of the top closers on the market. Among those on the wish list: Miller, Robertson, Romo.</p>— Brian McTaggart (@brianmctaggart) <a href=" ">November 14, 2014</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> OK they just lost me. Here I thought this was an analytics driven franchise.
  2. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>A First Family of Ball. Congrats to David, and to Roscoe and Connie!//MT <a href="https://twitter.com/RossNewhan1">@RossNewhan1</a>: Tigers name David Newhan assistant hitting coach</p>— Gordon Edes (@GordonEdes) <a href=" ">November 10, 2014</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  3. Why does Reimold not count as an injury for the O's?
  4. <p><p><p>Saw it on Reddit yesterday and kept note of it. 1982 lineup is supposed to be Chuck Dukowski, Rollins, Greg Ginn, Chuck Biscuits, Dez Cadena.</p></p></p>

  5. And of course, watch out for the Cubs next year.
  6. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Royals?src=hash">#Royals</a> release Bruce Chen, meaning he will be a free agent.</p>— Chris Cotillo (@ChrisCotillo) <a href=" ">September 5, 2014</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  7. But with significantly less games left to play. :thumbsup1:
  8. Wonder if the stolen bases broke his concentration?
  9. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Waiver claims have Jayson Nix to <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Royals?src=hash">#Royals</a> and Nolan Reimold to <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/DBacks?src=hash">#DBacks</a> today.</p>— Chris Cotillo (@ChrisCotillo) <a href=" ">August 28, 2014</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Hope Nolan has enough grit.
  10. Don't feel bad, I have been making a ton of mistakes of that type recently. Six SB eh? I guess the Cubs are not as worried about TTTP.
  11. He's pitching against the Cubs? (The Cubs trail the Reds 3-0)
  12. I'm sure someone who doesn't read the MLB board will make a thread about it in Orioles Talk. It's pretty much a guarantee.
  13. Jays DFA Reimold. Guess I drastically overestimated his potential impact.
  14. It's spread to Korea. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/8_PA0djjAMw?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  15. It's because they are a large market club, got to curry favor with those guys. You also don't hear about the Yankees being lucky even with a crappy run differential to go with the above .500 record.
  16. I think that the move at the time was worthy of being questioned. I am now convinced he was hurt. You and I both know phantom injuries are part of sports.
  17. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Nats?src=hash">#Nats</a> OF Nate McLouth will undergo surgery on Thurs. to repair the labrum in his R shoulder. He will miss the remainder of the 2014 season.</p>— Washington Nationals (@Nationals) <a href=" ">August 19, 2014</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  18. Of course the odds improve, they have one less game left to run the O's down. That is a reason to be glad you are in first place.
  19. To me it would belay common sense. Doesn't mean that MLB didn't do it.
  20. Were they not a pair of two game series? The O's won one series and split the other. If the O's and Yanks play a home and away it doesn't count as a six game series.
  21. Was a pair of two game series with the Nats. Just because they are back to back shouldn't change that.
