That's why I don't get attached to Closers.

At least Elias picked up another guy that looks like he can be this year's answer.
My guess is he won't drop a ton this year, guys don't want to admit they were wrong and he does have a ton of potential (if he can hit). I think that if he doesn't show a lot next year is when he will really take a tumble.

Based on tools he's surely going to be highly ranked but he's done nothing on the field this year.
He's not wrong.
Elias has shown a remarkable reticence toward promoting guys to the majors. If guys hang out in the minors putting up big numbers it helps that system ranking but does nothing for the ML squad.
What's with the fascination with high draft picks?
