  1. I got a co-worker who is a big Red Sox fan. I want to razz him but he's on Paternity leave. Darn kids ruining my fun.
  2. If only he was selective, like Mountcastle.
  3. Have never checked it out. This is going to come as a shock but I'm mostly into music and history podcasts. If you recommend it I'll give it a shot.
  4. I agree. Most players don't seem to like Dhing.
  5. Just because I am not in favor of having him start in the minors over fewer than 20 innings of spring training that does not mean I am discounting the idea of him ever being demoted over performance. No where have I suggested that he starts the season in the majors and stays there no matter what his results are.
  6. Baseball age is determined on a set date. A season is either your age 35 season or your age 36 season. So while biologically it is possible it isn't possible as MLB records age.
  7. Smart to have him play a position he doesn't have much experience with? If it was me, I'd be more anxious sitting in the dugout while my team plays defense without me. You adjust around the more talented players. You don't worry about Frazier at the expense of Gunnar. At least that's my view.
  8. I'll blame MASN and not the clock itself. I think the way the Tigers' broadcast did it is pretty sweet.
  9. What did MASN go with? I've seen some broadcasts that had a pretty sweet placement for the clock. NESN: Tigers: And we have this tweet. What are you seeing?
  10. Nice to see you are already in regular season form. I will say that I agree.
  11. No football team. Also no Nationals but I think the lack of the NFL team is the bigger difference.
  12. I remember how bad the '88 season was, how the team was a laughing stock at a national level. Elias had two seasons with a worse record than the '88 team.
  13. Hey it takes some doing to get four years out of a three year contract. Have to give them credit for that at least. Andy pretty clearly had a plan and it wasn't that bad of one. If he could have gotten over the buscones...
  14. That's not true. They had many plans over those twenty years. They just weren't good plans for the most part. Jury is still out on exactly what the current plan is or how successful it will be.
  15. It's a wonderful thing when you can be good at something you love.
  16. I think it's hideous but hey, I'll enjoy it upsetting people.
  17. If I hire a guy as CEO whose main trick is to fire off the expensive workers and hire cheap replacements which one of us is at fault if he does that? You hire a guy that says we are going to tank hard for as long as possible it's still on you.
  18. He hasn't taken any medium risks. Everything we've seen so far points to him being risk adverse.
  19. Plus Bemboom is an easy 60 grade name, Kolozsvary is like a 20 grade.
