  1. From what I have heard you can still spread the disease even if you have been vaccinated.
  2. I was wondering why Franco was ranked higher. Now I get it.
  3. Whew, our long nightmare is over!
  4. Seems like he can't get anything in the air this spring.
  5. Wind tends to be very much an issue down here. I imagine playing the outfield in spring training is a good bit more difficult than it is during the regular season.
  6. It seems, at this very early date, that Jones' defense at second is as advertised.
  7. But you did. We don't see it much not because of the money involved. Posters came up with a list of guys that did it back in the day. If anything college baseball is much stronger now then it was when Pete Incaviglia made the jump. If he's a bust at AA do you just keep him there all season? Next season? Demote him? Promote him anyway and hope for the best?
  8. I mean Davis is actually injured. No idea if he would be playing over AR if he was healthy. Hyde did say he would be trying to get Davis as many at bats as possible so maybe it's an accurate statement?
  9. Maybe he should give up switch hitting?
  10. You didn't hear? Davis is injured. Probably the only reason Adley is getting the start.
  11. Harper has under 500 career at bats in the minors and he spent one year in community college. Rendon has had 309 career at bats in the minors. Posey has had 631 career at bats in the minors. Those guys didn't get to spend a half a season in the type of environment Adley was in.
  12. I don't get it. You have highly touted HS players that are deemed ML ready at 19 or 20 years old and yet folks think highly touted college players need a similar period in the minors to develop. Do you think college baseball is worthless? Was he playing intramural softball this whole time?
  13. His development mostly happened at Oregon State. I think calling him (or most athletes) naturals do them a disservice. I'm sure he's put a lot of work into being a "natural at everything".
  14. You don't think they have already seen his bat? I'd rather he was catching but I'll take what I can get. I can hardly wait for someone to overreact to his at bats.
  15. The classic lower back strain. NBA favorite.
  16. Oh, so only the one ball out of the infield after-all, disappointing.
  17. Are you talking about when he threw the ball into left field? Wait...that was the day before yesterday, so he's managed it two days in a row!
  18. I'm just saying that's the type of dominate performance we need to see for him to force the issue.
  19. He walked at least once as well right? Heck that's plenty of plate appearances to predict great things.
