This series took Soto from someone I didn't know much about other than stats on a page to most hated Yankee. Soto is genuinely a gigantic a hole. I have to say despite his great batting ability, I don't really want him on the O's. There's no way the O's/Elias would spend the $500 million or so it would take anyway. Is Soto really well liked by the players he has played with? He just seems like one of those, it's all about me players.

The O's pitching can go toe to toe with the Yankees. The O's need help in the bullpen. Hyde needs to manage the bullpen better. The Yankees will be the O's main competition for the division unless injuries take them out.

I don't think either of them are coming up until near the All-Star break. Elias history is that he is not DFAing players that he sees as valuable. This includes players like Mateo and Urias, like it or hate it. Also if Urias/Mateo is DFA'ed/traded and Mayo is brough up, that makes Mayo a utility player who can't play 2b or SS. I think Holliday is more likely to come up 1st because he is more of a replacement for Urias/Mateo. I think Urias will be the one to go. Someone from 1B/DH/RF needs to be traded for Mayo to get anything other than once or twice a week playing time.

I wouldn't trade Basallo for Miller and I'm sure Elias wouldn't either. If Miller is healthy and available at the deadline, I bet the A's could get a comparable return from someone. Let's say a top 10 payroll team has a top 20 prospect and they feel like they are an elite closer away from being the World Series favorite this year plus control Miller for 5 more years. Some team in that situation would make the deal.

And those kids grow up and those families with young kids the parents get better jobs and hopefully can get better tickets. I would like to see more especially on weekdays done for those that can't afford $100 night at the park.

They should sell stylish clear Orioles bag for cheapskates like me that would like to bring in food. Any restrictions on food that can be brought in?
