Absolutely… i let sentimentality in because John Means was amazing to have sent a message and called my police officer brother who was in the ICU with Covid when Means pitched his nohitter and met with him weeks later at Camden Yards. John Means is Aok with me forever!!

And i think the contribution of Mateo was undervalued till missing… he would have played better defense at second than JH, his speed is a weapon, and GH could have DHd at times and let Jorge play short

Absolutely!! This season has been disrupted primarily by injuries. If this team had a healthy Kyle Bradish, Grayson, Eflin, John Means , Felix .. we would be many games up in the AL East race easily. The loss of Westburg and Mateo have hurt offensively and defensively. i agree that the organization is short of pitching and this will need to be shored up in free agency or trade a la the Eflin deal. But, no, ME has done an outstanding job as has Brandon Hyde. We now just need to get a few guys back and do a Texas Rangers run to WS!!

Povich, like a lot of pitchers, throws so many waste pitches. Pitches out of the hand that are so clearly a ball that nobody could swing even if they wanted to. The art of pitching is missing close

Hyde needs to shake this lineup order up a bit.. Gunnar did better in the leadoff slot than as 3, Adley needs to drop down, move Urias up, Cowser can hit lower. something

Ramon!!! Urias looks as calm, patient, relaxed, confident and comfortable at the plate as I have ever seen him. He should move up in the order.

Probably..it would be interesting to know if he threw over a lot more with the fast runners..

He has been outstanding.. like the Miguel Gonzalez sign.. an unexpected and great contribution!! If he stays in rotate great!! I had the passing thought that he might be a closer if needed given his calmness, scoreless innings etc

No to Hill, no to Bauer. It is what it is. Elias made choices not to upgrade enough at deadline or offseason and has no real minore league drafted help available. You just have to go with these guys, hope GRod, Westburg, Coulombe , Mateo get back and see how it plays out This team , even as is, is certainly capable of much better
