  1. Gunnar looking more like just another rookie than the ROY.
  2. Soon…. “Soon” we’ll find the back of their bullpen. The ones that supposedly suck. Right? Right???
  3. YES!!!!!!!!!! REVERSE JINX FOR THE WIN!!!!
  4. I hate when the announcers say “Hey Siri”. So annoying. Go away.
  5. Prediction: O’s go 1-2-3 bot 6.
  6. Hall getting squeezed!!!! f this ump.
  7. Where are the O’s that won 101 games? This looks like the 2021 team.
  8. Now Webb is getting squeezed on a pitch that’s been a strike all day.
  9. Every 3 TX batters from here on out. A relief pitcher is literally incapable of facing 4 batters, even if he gets 9 incredible swings and misses against the best hitters in baseball. That's Hyde's thinking, anyway.
  10. Hays at the top of the order is a spark plug. With 200,000 miles on it. Slathered in carbon.
  11. Come on, Rays, at least make it interesting. I'd love to see a Game 3 in this series, but if not, at least the Rays should dump a bunch of runs and make Texas sweat. I don't want Texas coming to Baltimore feeling invincible.
  12. Wow... the Rangers are destroying the Rays. Scary for us.
  13. We’re going to lose, and… I don’t care. Good thing too - my mom gets stressed out when I’m angry about a loss. And she doesn’t need that tonight after she had a stroke last week. I’m completely calm and just enjoying the baseball atmosphere. It’s nice to have already clinched and just watch the guys take a victory lap.
  14. There was a runner on the field. It was dumb. He avoided the ushers/guards and one guy fell and seemed to hurt his arm. The runner got carried off the field by police. Probably serve jail time.
  15. AL East CHAMPIONS!!! OMG!!! Hell of a ride, guys! It's been a while!!!! I remember the last time, and I was here on OH... Here we go, ALDS HERE WE COME!
  16. Maybe the Orioles History forum can be dedicated to Brooksie
  17. During this period of struggle in September (arguably our most severe period of struggle all year), yes, you're right. What's remarkable though is how infrequently this has been the case throughout the year. Most of the time, when our pitching is good, our hitting is good. And when one of them sucks, the other sucks, and we just lose the game - but that doesn't happen terribly often. The 1-run games, the comebacks, and the generally aligned good pitching + good hitting have made the O's really stand out this year -- so far. September has been a bit of a regression to 2022, maybe even 2021.
  18. Pitch 1 is a regulation strike, though. Barely, but it is. Even when we give the umps credit for everything close to the strike zone, many umps still have staggeringly bad calls multiple times per game. I think it makes the case for robo umps even stronger when you look at it that way.
  19. If rain causes your TV or internet (or both) to drop, that's also a line quality issue. It's amazingly common. It's the Internet equivalent of having your lights constantly flicker. You might not notice it when surfing the web because the data is just re-sent if it gets lost, but you might notice it on phone calls over WiFi or VoIP, or disconnections from games if you're a computer/console gamer. But it doesn't necessarily have to impact your internet, if the issue is just with your TV setup. Either way, you should have 100% reliability rain or shine; if not, that's an issue your ISP can help with. They can at least pinpoint the problem. Might be within your house's wiring, or it might be outside the house.
  20. You've got line quality issues, my friend. Could be anywhere along the line, fiber or ethernet or coax depending on your setup, but most definitely... line quality issues.
  21. Ro! Bo! UMPS! Ro! Bo! UMPS! Sooooooooo tired of the automatic 3-0 strike when the ball is a foot outside!
  22. Did they reverse all of his records and accomplishments from the MLB? Did his years of effective pitching not count for the teams he played for? Were his suspensions not barely a blip on the radar compared to how long he played? I'm not saying that cheating is right. I'm saying that, the way the rules are, cheating is "profitable". Just like when a company breaks the law and is fined something like $25,000 but made millions on the violation.
