The quality of their play oddly seems to mimic the weather. They played well when it was warmer and dry. When it's cold and pissy, they play badly. It's like they let the weather get to them. I'm even more annoyed at the weather than normal, because I'm planning a trip to Ohio to see the total eclipse next week, and it's looking pretty likely that it'll be cloudy and/or rainy. The weather is just giving us a giant finger right now. I hate it.

1 hit in 5 innings. Very similar offensive performance to last night. Holes in bats. Hitting it right at 'em. Lots of Ks. Ice cold, like the temperature. How quickly they figure it out will color their early season performance. If they figure it out in Pittsburg or Boston and keep trucking from there, it's gonna be a good season. If they're still frozen after their road trip, maybe the hype for the 2024 O's was overblown. We'll see.
