  1. That might be the worst swing I've ever seen Gunnar make. That's a serious changeup
  2. I would. Wells is stretched out as a starter, and the bullpen needs a day off
  3. Cal Ripken is being seriously underrated in the players you wouldn't want to run into discussion
  4. I can't tell if that Stowers catch was a great catch, or a routine fly ball that looked like a great catch because of a terrible route
  5. The automatic double had an expected batting average of .140. It was a relatively easy fly ball out. It didn't look as bad as the McKenna error because Hays somehow didn't get within 5ft of the ball.
  6. It appears that they (Orioles) rate Stowers defense fairly poorly. My read on today's lineup is they prefer Vavra's OF defense to Stowers. What I don't get is if the Orioles don't think he can play average OF defense, then they should start giving him work at 1B, which they passed on doing this spring. Especially since Santander appears pretty locked in to the DH spot. I don't really get what they're doing with Stowers overall, if they're not going to play him, they should trade him..or send him down to Triple-A. He's to young and talented to be rotting on the bench
  7. Stowers catches the last out, but he gets nowhere near the one McKenna got to earlier in the game. The entirety of the Orioles OF defense has been atrocious. Hoping Stowers plays soon
  8. The Orioles OF defense has cost them a minimum of 4 outs in the last two games. This is beyond atrocious
  9. i think someone space jammed the Orioles OF. No other explanation
  10. Hyde's in game managing once again leaves me confused
  11. Actually this might be the answer. The guys look a little surprised at how far its going
  12. Elias has a pattern, he likes to start guys off at an easy level and finish the year with a challenge.
  13. I know there are severe thunderstorms, I can look out my window
  14. Catching balls in the OF is a nice change of pace
  15. Catching balls in the OF is a nice change of pace
  16. Might not see santander again in the OF for a bit (at least on the road). Hyde is allergic to playing stowers, especially against LH.
  17. It sucks, but watching him pitch tonight and combining it with the weather that is going to put the Orioles rotation in a flux anyways, definitely seems like Elias and Co made the right decision
  18. He's actually still in Florida after clearing concussion protocol, will join the team in Norfolk
  19. Santander should be nowhere near the outfield defensively
  20. I was irked at Frazier starting (and hurting the outfield defense)...but he's hit sooo
  21. Lol, IQ tests. Tell me you don't really know a lot about the subject, without telling me you don't know a lot about the subject. And just for the record, kids have always been exposed/"pushed" upon those things, dice, dominoes, number runners etc, playboy was ubiquitous, as was pushing smoking and drinking as cool.
  22. What on earth do you think things have looked like for the past several hundred years? Gambling has always been around, smoking, drugs...we used to have legal opium. The entire concept that kids should be in school, and not working, is a relatively recent cultural phenomenon. The global literacy rate is actually at an all time high.
  23. Hard to get angry about a guy getting sent down when he can't get through 5IP in spring training, and kept having blow up innings. While other options pitched well. Orioles gave him every chance, he wasn't anywhere near his best. Hope he comes out and proves everyone wrong at Norfolk

    403 errors

I thought it was because Grayson was sent down. Thanks for the hard work Tony
