  1. Gunnar 1 for 9 with an infield single since the HR on Monday
  2. Dammit, McCann, Bradish has exactly 1,192 pitches in him before his arm explodes and you made him waste like a dozen of them.
  3. It's May 2 and Bradish is on the mound. It's pretty surreal if you think about. Most people thought that it was wildly optimistic to see him before the All-Star Break.
  4. Stanton is sitting, Judge is DH.
  5. How much of the freaking out about today is because it's the Yankees? If the O's were playing the Mariners would a split be acceptable?
  6. Who's better than McCann? Maverick Handley? Basallo who has an OPS of .716 and just started catching again the other day?
  7. Do you write the LSAT for a living?
  8. Any chance Ramirez passes through waivers? The stuff is intriguing. He made Juan Soto look silly last night.
  9. Ray of hope. Tough to stay out of the DP with Holmes.
  10. Man, if Baumann and Ramirez could just combine to throw three perfect innings all the time.
  11. Kevin Brown making Ramirez soooo sympathetic the day before he's likely out on his butt.
  12. Henderson hasn't made good contact since homering to start this series.
  13. You must have missed Mateo trying to bunt yesterday. He's shockingly bad at it.
  14. Is Thank God I'm a Country Boy the magic spell this offense needs??
  15. Marlins offense has drawn three walks tonight, so now they're tied with O's for fewest in baseball. (Yes, I know they've played more games)
  16. Watching Urias and thinking it might be time to let Mateo face more righties.
  17. Figures after all the chatter from Game 1 Oswaldo Cabrera punks the O's with a bomb that's a HR in 5/30 ballparks.
  18. I don't know if the O's have one run in them, much less two.
  19. Burnes needs to have some quick innings.
  20. Love to see 3 Yankee Ks, don't love 20 pitches. Burnes has gone deeper than six innings just once, would like to see it happen again.
  21. Kremer got squeezed by Bucknor on three of those four walks. (Or McCann did a horrible job framing, I was at the game so I couldn't tell.) Look at the Gameday. In the first, Soto walked on four pitches but could easily have been down in the count 1-2. Stanton should have been called out on strikes in the second. Judge got a gift call to get ahead 2-0 in the sixth. The only "bad" walk was the walk to Grisham.
  22. Santander also has terrible stats vs. Cortes and has been making some truly awful swing decisions lately. I had thought this would be a good day to play Kjerstad in RF.
