  1. Thanks. All that was assuming the Hilton stays, so hey, just move the scoreboard to block it! I do love extending the rooftop bar, so that essentially you get more Camden Station and the Warehouse in view. The scoreboard in RF was for the people who can't get a good view of the LF scoreboard.
  2. Easy to follow at first, but then I got lost in the weeds. Maybe someone else will have a clearer interpretation. Thanks for this, though.
  3. I was an hour behind, but hey - it was never in doubt!
  4. KC plays at 6:40pm in Chicago tomorrow, so I think they will play this evening (weather permitting), allowing them time to get there in plenty of time.
  5. I always thought it was chalk, too. But I did wonder if that was a splash of water instead of chalk.
  6. Let's hope Palmer quips about it some and gets his attention
  7. It was as grainy / low fi as something you'd see on YouTube for a Wide World of Sports episode from '68.
  8. Kind of makes sense. I call him RhinO. And on Nugent's Double Live Gonzo, there's the comment in the intro to Hibernation: "this guitar is guaranteed to blow the balls off of a charging Rhino at sixty paces."
  9. My wife perked up when Grant Hill was being interviewed. She said, "that's my story, too!" (except being a fine, fine basketball player). Like him, her dad grew up Baltimore, went to Yale, and as a kid she'd go to Baltimore to see games and listen to games on the radio with her grandmother and grandfather. Her grandfather was a coach at St. Paul's School for Boys in Baltimore for 60 years. I'm so glad he's part of the organization.
  10. Watched the pre-game bit about the new "celebration", ie. motorcycle handlebars. Looks too much like that thing that KC did in '14 in the postseason. It's been done. I don't care either way, but Frank The Tank that Mounty did some last year is far better.
  11. That was my intro to him, reading that book about the making of Camden Yards. “Ballpark”. He and Janet Marie Smith were central to the book’s narrative. It’s so fascinating that I’ve read it twice over the years. Rest in peace.
  12. This tower looks great with the red lights after a win. Go Wolfpack! To have State and the O's with such hope reminds so much of '83. Magic years for both teams. I was a junior there that year.
  13. That works. It has to be a photo file. Sometimes the webpage will give a link like .html or something that does not end with .jpg .jpeg, or whatever. Trial an error is how I learned that.
  14. Thanks! I'm just an amateur with just average Photoshop and Photoscape skills. I have fun with it, but I'd never qualify against today's whippersnappers. If I were a younger man and lived in MD, I may apply just for kicks (and possible free O's tix). I did however tag David Rubenstein, MASN, Roch, Melewski, and The Orioles on a Twitter / X post today, though about the idea.
  15. I also drew up a redesign several years ago so Camden Station could be seen. Also, I extended the rooftop bar. In my dreams, I'd love the Hilton taken down to expose the Bromo Tower again, but barring that, here's what I drew. I added a RF scoreboard, too.
  16. Can't win 'em all. Let's regroup for KC.
  17. File this under "Ben's Gems". "He looked like he had a toaster in his glove."
  18. Sort of reminds me of the Davy Crockett / Daniel Boone coonskin cap I had when I was 8. I'd love to see him shagging flies with one of those on.
  19. Messed around a little this afternoon. Put a silhouette of the Francis Scott Key bridge on there. Does anyone know how to get this to David Rubenstein?
  20. I'm not particularly worried. I think the O's will put up about 7 somewhere along the way here today.
  21. Or just move it in FRONT of the Hilton!
  22. I never heard that term before. Applejohn. Had to look it up. Noun. applejohn (plural applejohns) (obsolete) A variety of apple which can be kept for a long period, gradually becoming dry and withered; known today as the French crab. French Crab is not too bad either. May use that for Kimbrel at some point.
