  1. Hoping it is this guy https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/n/neideni01.shtml
  2. He seems like a worthy grab. 40% c/s, good defensively, greeting framing…what’s not to like?
  3. Nick Neidert is a decent piece IMO if that tends up to be accurate.
  4. Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with this podcast. Not sure if anyone else listens to the Orioles Locked on Podcast but big fan of it. The guy that does it is a smart cookie and always enjoy his takes. He is a bit concerned about losing Culser. Take a listen: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/orioles-trade-cole-sulser-and-tanner-scott-to-the/id1351965013?i=1000556162096 Always good to hear other takes//opinions. As another poster on here astutely mentioned, if Nick Neidert is the other piece, he might be a rotation/piggy back piece. I think that adds to the attractiveness of the trade for me. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/baseball/news/marlins-nick-neidert-designated-for-assignment/
  5. If he gets Neidert too (seems spot on, perfect fit), that’s a good trade. Hats off to him. You do that deal all day long.
  6. Awesome post, thank you, great insights. Runs to google for Neidert.
  7. New prediction time! Curious if this PTBNL is of value. Anyone have any educated guesses how that typically works? Someone likely on their 40 man or not?
  8. Yeah, if that player is of value, then great trade. I still think Scott & Sulser much better than people giving credit for.
  9. Huh? They got like 15/30 best pick. We got zero top 30. The Comp Balance pick is big obviously but not more than that.
  10. Alive is debatable I think worse bc I think injuries/lack of depth is going to force many waiver claims/4a fodder starts. If not, we are going to hurt the development of arms. Elias isn’t hard to figure out. He might be improving other aspects, but the starting pitching determines wins in baseball more than anything else and ours is bad, real bad and that’s with no injuries (I promise, there will be many). I am with Corn here, going to be brutal to watch.
  11. Owings is on a mil deal. He can go to AAA, between the two, I’d go Owings bc this team is going to have atrocious pitching (not sure people realize how bad) so much rather have better d /versatility.
  12. Does this mean Odor is a lock? I gotta agree with most on here, upside is minimal and can only play one position, much rather see a random rookie.
  13. Yeah, because the Os really knock it out of the park with their top picks.
  14. Wow, people are really underestimating Tanner Scott’s potential IMO.
  15. At some point, you need to trade some of those tickets or most will become worthless
  16. Thanks! More on the pitcher herehttps://www.prospects1500.com/nl-east/marlins/miami-marlins-top-50-prospects-2022/
  17. Neither one in top 30 prospects. The comp B pick is good. https://www.mlb.com/prospects/marlins
  18. Wow! Anyone know anything about the prospects? Those are two good relievers!https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/04/marlins-to-acquire-tanner-scott-from-orioles.html
  19. I wouldn’t rule out Elias keeping both Akin and Kremer in rotation to start season to ensure a slow start/tank.
  20. Only 1 game left. Rotation in flux lol but my guess is Elias goes with worst options to solidify bad start/high pick. Kremer belongs in AAA. please DFA Akin. Lowther 5th guy is my guess. Means Lyles Zimmerman (home opener hopefully) Wells piggy Lowther (5th)
  21. All going as planned for a 110 loss season. Also, Hunter Harvey had a dramatic start to his Nationals career.
  22. To be clear: my disgusting is the lack of trying not the As or Rays, clearly both are doing it right. The Rays should have a movie about them, just amazing what they have accomplished with a city that barely wants them.
