  1. Maybe not, its called a 40 man roster and the management of
  2. Solid Post Just think it would be Vavra that gets moved aside and not Mckenna.
  3. Its been a player empowerment for the better part of 50 years. Again, tough game tough business. Stay ready Jordan.
  4. Sends the same message its always sent. MLB is a tough business, Stay focused stay ready for when your time comes. Pretty sure he already knows this.
  5. Then why let somebody on the board open a new thread that was not closed down until page 5 of comments. Where is that Frazier Thread
  6. Good overview of his year so far. By the way that recent Frazier thread were their were posters who made some good points that went against your opinions of Frazier. I wanted to reply and agree with them, but you dont agree with any body thats pro Frazier, so you lock it down. So now if Frazier keeps doing what he what brought here to do we cant talk about him? You are doing a great job Tony.
  7. Cano is in the spot I want him to be in right now. I grew up with the game in the 70's and they had an Award for best relief, they called the Rolaids relief picture of the Year (The fireman) because in addition to closing your best reliever might come in 7th or 8th inning to put out a fire. So you're in a jam 7th or 8th inning with runners on who do want out of bullpen Felix or Cano? Probably Cano but put me in the camp that more than satisfied both are here.
  8. Can't scoff at Cano being better than Felix because he's better than everyone right now. The last out was right at the warning track. Long outs are part of the game just ask Austin Hayes from Tuesday night, almost happened to Trout last night.
  9. You may not like the Platooning., but its becoming increasing obvious that that's the Organizational Strategy of this front office. Besides trades are generally made in July Not May
  10. The possibility's are not endless but they are many. If this front office can figure a way to go with 12 pictures ( which they already have done for one game but obviously cant be long term) that opens another bench spot. Just saying couple games here couple there.
  11. Absolutely Bring them up give them whatever ABs you can. Short of injuries nobody is going to get more than platoon time. After 20 to 30 Abs evaluate and if its worth keeping them up keep them up If not send back down to Norfolk to keep them getting ABs Hopefully we find a way to rotate Cowser and Westburg into the mix
  12. Dont forget about O'Hearn's contribution last night. I like Mountcastle too, I also like the platooning the O's seem to be embracing. Maybe getting close to taking a few ABs from Gunner.
  13. There are 3 Outfield spots. What does Frazier have to do with Rotation?? How is Frazier getting ABs from Stowers or Vavra let alone Hayes Mullins Santander DH ABs from Adley, Santander Urias Mcann Henderson or even Stowers. What are you watching What rotation
  14. You speak the obvious. Giving Stowes ABs over Frazier Urias and Mcann is nothing to debate considering, Stowers is not on the 26, but back in Norfolk again (justifiably so)
  15. You might not even on need one finger to count how many starts Frazier got a start over Stowers in outfield. Mcann at Dh vs LHP how many ABs. Vs The same L'HP you would pick Stowers over Urias to DH. Come on man, what are you watching
  16. Try 120 Abs not 30 . Not really sure how Frazier and Mcann line up with Stowers. One is a 2nd basemen the other is a backup catcher Both are proven vets (until they aren't) Both are doing what they were brought here to do (Frazier yes Mcann not so much not yet) Stowers is not a proven vet or a 2nd basemen or a backup catcher. Before you complain about Mcann, who exactly are you going to replace him with.
  17. Thats Fair that's been my feeling since last week, is the way Cowser is going maybe 3 weeks or a month Not trying gang on to any Stowers apologists but he has to get better. My reference to 500 ABs was with other Orgs like we were couple years to let him play through his struggles
  18. The flip side of this not how develop players is Stowers getting a total 120 ABs and OPS under 600, this is not how you stay in the majors. He may very well get the 200 games And 500 plus ABs that DJ Stewart got but it will be with another Organzation if he doesn't pick it up. This team is too good for that long a leash.
  19. Mateo one year you might want to look that up.Mullins is hitting lefties this year why do want to keep ridding of your best players? Santander and Hays have not hurt this year
  20. 28 for 28? Of course How bout 8 for 28 with 2 home runs truly Historic yes did not have to be half what he has done and thats why he is getting way more play
  21. Not apples to oranges Cano is a unique case to Vavra and Stowers because he performed. They both opened on the 26 yes but were sent down and CALLED UP as per my post This team is now to good to learn at the major league level unless your name is Henderson or Rodriguez.
  22. Could not have been said better it was not 2014 could have been 1997 or 1983 but in the context of what going to work long you have to go back farther, to the 70s and 60s that they had a pipeline like this
  23. What SSS Mateo and Urias have been doing this for the last couple of years, not to mention Hayes Mullins Santander and even Frazier longer than that
