This feels like the series and road trip where things starts to unravel if they don’t pick up a win tomorrow. Lousy loss tonight.

Yeah but that’s unlikely to continue. We just need to keep doing our thing then lay it on them in a couple of weeks. Doesn’t make today any less disappointing though.

It’s becoming more possible every day. Particularly if the Sox and Guardians continue to lose and are close to or eliminated by the time we play them. Have 11 games left just against those 2 teams.

That was a Ron Kulpa special. He did that earlier this year against the Blue Jays. Think he was off the field before the guy left the batters box

Or the 2nd inning not scoring at least 1. This should be a 4-0 game at least.

I’ll be more concerned if we see this over the next couple of days. Need a couple of “bust out the whoopin stick” games where we score 6+ runs against a Sox team that is probably as bad as the Rockies. But keep getting 2/3 and it’s hard to complain too much.

And then a very possible rematch in the DS. It is stupid how they don’t reseed after the WC round. And the 6 seed will get the Twins (and be favored) and then not have to play the 1 seed. It’s ridiculous.

The offense has been garbage this series outside of a couple of HR’s and Mountys double last night. They should have scored some runs off these guys.

Maybe we should trade for this guy and have him rejoin the O’s circle lol

It’s good all that matters is winning because this really hasn’t been a very impressive series on paper.

Vegas has us at -218 today. I won’t throw out a jinx, but look at our games on Sundays since May.

Yeah I think 2012 with the “shock” factor and how they played in Aug/Sept. they were basically .500 at the end of July and everyone expected them to fold like every other year and finish 71-91. This year is a different feeling for me as it is remarkable consistency and a no quit attitude. Plus feeling it could be the start of something special for a long time if things are done correctly. Even if this season doesn’t turn out as we want it at the end, who isn’t going to be pumped as hell for 2024? Didn’t always have that feeling with the teams in 2012-2016 and it felt more like a flash in the pan.

Hall did his job. Really what else could he have done better?

Is anyone really shocked about this tonight given what has transpired the last 24 hours? Hopefully they will flush it out tonight, if not by tomorrow.

If he is closing I will be hitting the bottle a lot the next month.

Suspect Mountain will be getting up and come in if needed. Full circle for Hyde not pitching him the other night if it plays out.

Most likely going to come down to the TB series in a few weeks. Win 3/4 and we gain 3 games on them regardless of the tiebreak. Was hoping we would be 5 or 6 up going into that series but the Rays have really turned it on recently. Not much we can do about that. Just have to keep playing good ball and winning series.

And it’s not like Bautista has pitched much in the past week. That’s what I don’t understand. He threw like 10 pitches Saturday night and then the time before that was last Monday. Unless there was some other reason we don’t know about, just think it was a stupid decision.

Ridiculous. I mean if we had a 8 game lead for the division it might be justifiable. But congrats the lead is ticking down to 2 games and now you got their best starters the next 2 nights. Brutal.

Someone needs to teach him how to bunt. Good lord. With his speed it should be trivial.
