    Thank God Hyde has enough sense today to not let Flaherty flounder, but the rate things are going it might still be tied before Perez gets warm.

    I thought they said before the game that Irvin is in the bullpen tonight. If that’s true, there’s no reason not to yank Gibson quickly. We also have an off day tomorrow.

    I was just going to come here and say that Grayson looks a little off and doesn’t have his normal velo, and then he throws three 99’s in the last four pitches.

    I would like to see Mullins, too, but I’m guessing it’s a matchup thing.

    Has there been any talk of Cedric leading off again once it seems like he’s settled in? I can’t complain too much about Rutschman, but it would be nice to have some speed at the top.

    I don’t think anyone thinks he is. Probably just a rest day for Hays and a chance to get Hicks re-acclimated.

    There was an angle they showed where Gunnar’s glove clearly moved when it touched his jersey. That’s BS.

    Adley has a great eye. Unfortunately, he knows that his is better than the umpire’s right now.

    MLB average, yes. But I think the question was in relation to the rest of the Orioles.

    I mean, he’s definitely close to the bottom of the list.

    Not sure I’d go all the way to “crazy,” but Mountcastle at the plate and Rutschman at 3rd is definitely not the ideal time to be trying that.
