  1. THIS. A good throw to Gunnar has a chance to nail the runner.
  2. IMHO it was a great shot, but he wasn't running hard out of the box and may have gotten to third if hustling.
  3. Beavis and Butt Head cut outs (from a skit last week on SNL with Ryan Gosling hosting) being in the stands is awesome! LOL
  4. We're one of the Majors top scoring teams, yet some comments infer we suck. It's one game. Actually, it's three innings. Breathe. Win or lose, it'll be alright.
  5. Just messaged you Moose, but see you got it.
  6. Are they expected to play through without delays? They'll at least be getting under way on time, so that's a good thing.
  7. Ah. Hadn't seen that before. Well, it's not slanderous in the least. It comes off as blasphemy to some O's fans , but Cal, like everyone, is entitled to his opinions. I wonder if the comment was regarding defense alone? He may be right. Hard to know... as both were great.
  8. What Brooks slander? I haven't heard/read about this.
  9. Good luck with the site as it seems like a cool concept.
  10. I may be in the minority, but I hope that Adley doesn’t DH a whole lot this season. I think if he catches 120 games and is able to maybe pinch hit I think that would be something that I would much prefer rather than having him play the majority of the games at either C or DH
  11. Are they expected to get the game in?
  12. I went back a dozen pages and didn't see it posted. If it has been, feel free to delete.
  13. To me, it's a simple thing. He DH's most days and gets some spot starts in RF too. The O's, however, seem averse to having a near full-time DH.
  14. Reasons for concern from various parties: Velocity, spin rate, and unnatural torque The pitch clock The baseball itself The sticky/tacky substances allowed or disallowed on the ball Each may play a role and should be investigated thoroughly, though it's likely that the first bullet point is the biggest contributor. Hopefully there are solutions found that can help alleviate some of these injuries moving forward, but implementation often takes time.
