  1. He is Mike Wright all over.
  2. You can’t run if you don’t let anyone on base because you can’t steal 1st. The easiest way to stop run game is pitching well and getting a lead.
  3. He had 2 hits in each of the first six games in May last year so he better get going or it gonna be hard to catchup. Now we have a few guys that are ready now if he doesn’t compared to before when most guys were not ready yet.
  4. The hardest years I feel are the year before you get free agency especially if you trying to get that big long term deal and the year after you get a big contract. If you start out struggling the pressure gets to you I am sure more.
  5. He struggled mightily from right side rookie year. This year he is hitting .470 from right side.
  6. This is the 4th back to back the first three he went 1 inning didn’t walk a guy or give up a hit and struck out 4 so back to back hasn’t been issue.
  7. This is the 4th time he has went back to back. The previous 3 he has 3 innings 0baserunners and 4 strikeouts so not like this is a continuous problem. Right now he has no command and his stuff nit good enough anymore unless he has the command. Hopefully just little blip and he gets it figured out we will need him through the year.
  8. No need to use 2 players in that situation when you are in the lead.
  9. I don’t know how half the people on here watch the games or follow the team between the worrying and negative Nancy’s. We give up a run early the game is over or as soon as the lineup comes out declaring we just punting this game. I have learned with baseball more than most sports you never know what will happen. Your 26th man on the roster might get the huge hit to win the game. In basketball your 10-13th man on the roster might get a few minutes in garbage time but never really change a game.
  10. Yeah 4 innings 3 or less runs is a success imo. Then let Suarez pitch us to 8th or 9th.
  11. It probably easier to start him. He struggles and gives you 3 innings you have Suarez can give you 5-6. If you start Suarez how many innings do let him go before Means comes in. Then if Means comes in and struggles you have to bring in another guy. It is all about getting him some innings but having a true long man ready if need be.
  12. Til you goes to the Yankees then he becomes douche bag.
  13. It is time for Urias to go. He is nice player plays very good defense but he should never be holding anyone back from coming up. Hays should be back soon and he replaces Heston then you bring either bring up Norby who can play some infield and corner outfield or Mayo and to play 3rd, 1st and DH. Urias and McKenna are not part of the future and should not be holding anyone back when the team feels the others are ready. Mayo is at the halfway point of a half season at Norfolk this year and last so it is very close to time and Norby maybe even closer. When Elias is saying he is very close I expect it within the next month or so.
  14. McCann gets at bat vs lefties because there is no other right handers on current roster. Who do you want hitting Mayo or McCann. You can get Mayo at bats by sliding Mullins out vs a lefty and letting Mateo play center with Westburg moving to 2nd and Mayo at 3rd. Then you can give Henderson a two or three days off a month moving Mateo over to SS. I think some of the guys wore down at the end of the season as they hadn’t played this long last year. I would like to see a few more days off for our starters and we have the depth to not see a big drop off. Henderson can hit lefties but does he do it better than Mayo would? I hope Henderson gets a day off this weekend.
  15. Ramirez made it all the way to us when the Mets DFA’d him that means pretty much every other team passed on him. Did he do anything to make another team say oh wait I think we need this guy now. I didn’t see anything he looked like run of the mill reliever imo. I think it better gamble he makes it through waivers then Baumann does so I would try him to get through.
