Baker's problem is that he fools around with too many pitch types. He should be a two or three pitch pitcher. He always seems like he needs to throw every different pitch to each hitter.
EDIT: Of course, this could a catcher issue, too.
Dang...I went and looked at the scoreboard and noticed that newly acquired Lucas Giolito just got annihilated by the Braves today.
I hate to admit it, but he's one of the guys I though we should go after.
I didn't realize that next year will be his age 29 season. For some reason, I thought he was younger.
Now that I look at it in that light, I'm fine with him being here next year, but would have to let him go after that.
Plus, he can get involved in the game another way if he wants to do so. He may want to coach/manage...or go to broadcasting. I'm sure MASN would love to have him!
