Tyler had a good Spring. So far in his first start he looks like 2nd half 2023 Tyler Wells. Hope it's just a bad day.

Just watched his inning. Lots of middle middle fastballs stung by Durham hitters. Doesn't look like he had his changeup working. Have to remember this is his spring training. But not the beginning he wanted.

Velocity looks good. I didn't watch yet but suggests to me his location was horrible.

At the very least your bullet points offer Elias some cover. Holliday seems to be the only one where service time is being controlled. Regarding Norby... I just don't see any path for him at all. He's blocked in the IF, and even if he learns how to play the corner OF, he is likely blocked there too. Could it be that the O's are hoping he improves his stock to increase his value at the trade deadline?

Results weren't there on opening day, but it was good to see Dillon Tate back on the mound. I was very surprised by the lower velocity, maxing out closer to 90 than 95. Hope it was just a "first game back" thing. What was his fastball velocity like in Spring Training? EDIT: Dillon not Dylan

I'll be very surprised if Burnes gets offered a LT deal before Adley and Gunnar. Heck even GRod or Holliday.
