  1. DofuSports is awesome for nfl. I’m not sure about MLB though.
  2. I didn’t read it that way. I think he’s talking about goi g 1-1 as well. At least that’s how I interpreted it.
  3. Yes! Thank you Tony! This is my daily go to destination for my Orioles fix. Thanks again Tony!
  4. There’s this guy you might have heard of whose back foot comes off the ground during his swing too. His name is Bryce Harper. (Actually it’s a lot more common than you’d think)
  5. 1. Chase DeLauter Outfield, James Madison DeLauter is a physical specimen. At 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, the product of Martinsburg, West Virginia can really bang at the plate. He burst onto the scene in 2021, slashing .386/.508/.723 with 6 homers and 7 stolen bases in just 26 games. He worked 25 walks and punched out just 14 times. DeLauter has showcased his talents in the Cape Cod League as well, surging confidence in his abilities with big league scouts. Believers see an above average-to-plus hitter with easy plus, potentially plus-plus raw power. He has a disciplined eye at the plate that should translate to pro ball well. In the field, it’s at least a plus-plus arm in a corner with rangy speed and sound fundamentals. DeLauter clocked a 6.4 second 60 at James Madison's pro day, so he's every bit that of a plus runner as well. James Madison hasn’t produced a first round pick since 2007. All signs point toward that changing in 2022. Batting Season Team G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB AVG CCBL 2021 Orleans Firebirds 34 124 27 37 7 1 9 21 21 18 5 .298 Total 34 124 27 37 7 1 9 21 21 18 5 .298 With 600 AB's that comes out to 179 hits, 33.6 doubles, 43 home runs, 101 RBI'S, 101 BB, 81 Strike outs
  6. Apparently he was the best performer in the Cape Cod league against the best players in the country.
  7. Chase Delauter is my 1-1 pick as of right now. I think this dude is going to be a beast based on his Cape Cod performance and combination of size, power and speed.
  8. Mullins-CF Jung-2b/3b Cowser-LF Rutschman-C MountCastle-1B Kjerstad-RF Mayo-3B Henderson-SS/3B Westburg-2B/SS We would have an extra 2B or 3B in there somewhere but I like it!
  9. Eduardo Rodriguez was the perfect candidate to sign this year on a 4-5 year deal.
  10. It’s the first time it was publicly acknowledged that it was a possibility. It’s worth noting. Sorry it didn’t meet your standards.
  11. So I believe this is the first time we’ve heard that it was possibly COVID related.
  12. I think this is the exact offseason that we should be signing two free agent pitchers of Eduardo Rodriguez's caliber to 3 -4 year contracts, if there are two on the market that fit that description. That would put them right smack dab in the middle of when we hope to be competing for the playoffs. In my opinion, a rotation of Grayson, Means and two solid #3's while our position player prospects are coming up to fill out the rest of the line-up would really make us in the conversation for the playoffs.
  13. What does “tried leading Kjersted back to Sarasota “ mean?
  14. I know that he gets a lot of attention as a 2022 prospect and currently is thought of as the possible 1-1 pick in next years draft. But is he a "Bryce Harper"/"Stephen Strasburg" type talent? Here's some info that I have found while looking around the interwebs today. Elijah Green OF Windermere, FL IMG Academy Commitment: University of Miami GRAD 2022 HT 6'3'' WT 215LBS THROWS RIGHT BATS RIGHT ARM 95 MPH 60 YD 6.28 Hitting 65 Hitting Grade (R) Grade. 70 Power Grade (R) Grade. 103 mph Exit Velocity Scale "As an amateur scout, you dream of the opportunity to get a taste of a future superstar years before anyone knows his name. Guys that saw Carlos Correa in 2009 knew what was to come. Folks that saw Fernando Tatis Jr. several years ago had their suspicions. IMG Academy’s Elijah Green is that caliber player." James Weisser ProspectsLive.com Here's a link with excellent footage and info about him: https://www.perfectgame.org/players/playerprofile.aspx?ID=535648 Here's another quote from another write up from Prospects Live: "Some evaluators believe he could be a plus hitter with double-plus raw power. He’s currently a 70-runner with a 70-arm as well." https://www.prospectslive.com/mlb-draft/2021/5/3/22-for-22-some-premier-names-to-know-for-the-2022-mlb-draft So do you think he will be one of the can't miss/must take 1-1 type of players?
  15. The reason that I asked the original question is because there’s a prospect in the Blue Jays system, Nate Peterson who had an 80 grade for his fastball and I gotta think that even though a 65 grade is good how is a fastball as dominating as Graysons is not higher than a 65?
  16. Seems like I keep hearing how he is consistently hitting triple digits.
  17. Did they ever mention why he left the game?
  18. I would love to see Gunnar go to the Cedric Mullins School of Hitting Lefties.
  19. How’s his defense? Should he stick at SS?
  20. This pick makes me doubt everything that Elias said about kjeirsted being the player they had rated as BPA last year.
  21. Does anyone know if the actual picks start at 7 or do they have a prolonged pre-draft picks show?
