  1. Disappointing that our 2 main pitching chips from last year's fire sale aren't looking better. On the flip side, getting Sedlock and Harvey back in the discussion will be nice.
  2. Frobby what would your Top 10 Orioles Pitching Prospects list look like right now?
  3. 2 hits for McCoy tonight in his debut, including a double.
  4. well in the last 10 games since this thread was started he's only hitting .429.
  5. How was the velocity yesterday?

    DL Hall 2019

Another poor start for Hall. Seems to not have his control so far this spring. Hope it gets better soon.
  7. Is there anyway this works out well for the Orioles and we ll of a sudden have more money to spend? Or is it just a matter of how much less we will have to spend?
  8. so you're saying there's a chance?
  9. This season or the rest of his career?
  10. LeBron James is the perfect example: https://www.totalprosports.com/2018/05/08/lebron-says-hes-learned-how-to-rest-while-playing/ During the regular season, LeBron’s average speed was 3.85 mph. Anybody who’s ever seen him explode to the basket or pull off a chase-down block knows he is anything but slow. However, that average speed is one of the slowest in the NBA. LeBron’s 3.85 mph average is in the bottom 10 in the league among players who averaged at least 20 minutes per game. And in the playoffs LeBron’s average speed is even lower, clocking in at 3.69 mph. How does LeBron keep his average speed so slow while finding a way to average 34.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game? By walking as much as possible. During the regular season, LeBron spent 74.4% of his time on the court walking, which is in the top 10 in the league. During the playoffs he’s walking 78.7% of the time.
  11. Anyone else secretly hoping that Bobby Witt has an incredible spring and gives the O's a reason to select him instead? Or have no problem if we select Witt and negotiate a lower bonus so we can spend down the board. I'm struggling with the idea of drafting a catcher with the first pick. Especially when there is a potential 5-tool SS out there, who we have time to groom. Rauchman will probably be ready before we need him. Then he'll play 120 games a year, and you hope he doesn't get beaten down by the time we're ready to compete. There's a reason that there aren't many great catchers out there - it's really hard to sustain!
  12. Can we just get a running list on a thread like we get for the draft or top 30 lists?
  13. If he would take 80% of his salary, the O's would have already done it. THink about it - they owe him $17M per year for the next 4 years, then $42M in deferred money after that. That's $110M - If they agreed to an 80% buyout, the O's would save $22M. A no brainer. That's more than half of what they saved buy trading away their best players. The big question is would Davis do it?
  14. By the title of this thread I thought it was going to be one of those tongue-in-cheek "shortest thread ever" jokes. Let's hope this one goes many many pages!
  15. The random though I can't get out of my head is what does this team do with Chris Davis? I think they have to buy him out this off-season. Hopefully he is man enough to take some discounted percentage of what he is owed and try to get a fresh start somewhere else. Would he take 80%? Would the O's?
  16. I mean the entire league had a pretty good idea of what was going to be in this trade for the last 48 hours....if anyone was willing to beat it, they would have.
  17. Diaz could turn out to be our Torres like the Yanks got for Chapman.
  18. I'm not sure if you guys have looked at their numbers, but Kremer, Bannon and Pop are all having excellent seasons. All 3 will fit nicely into our top 15.
  19. Trade idea: Chris Davis for Dexter Fowler. Doubt the Cardinals would do it, but interesting idea to swap 2 albatros.
