  1. I didn't get Diaz. Give it a whack, Reezy, I know you don't have anything better to do.
  2. Well according to you, you're the all-time great at everything. I'm not surprised.
  3. I just threw in the towel, you've got 20 mins to do it. 43/58 for 74%.
  4. Get it together, RZNJ. These quizzes get posted practically every offseason.
  5. If you can't name Odor, you need to turn in your fan card.

  7. Perhaps the biggest disappointment of the season, IMO.
  8. Gonna be an interesting holiday season at the Angelos house! Who wants pumpkin pie?
  9. The other thing about this that no one mentions is that it was an epic battle to begin with. He fouled off two pitches right away, got into a quick 0-2 count. Battled back to 3-2 while fouling off more pitches and then hits that homer. I also always liked this, too. Talk about an all-time jinx. if NBC doesn't flash that graphic in front of Eck, does Gibson hit that homer? We'll never know. I also don't know how to describe this, but there's something about the way sports were broadcast in the mid-late 80s, especially night baseball games that has always just looked so cool to me. It's slightly fuzzy, slightly grainy with great contrasts and tones, I'm not really sure how to put it into words. But this, the Buckner grounder, Ryan's 5000th strikeout, etc...I dunno what it is about the way those broadcasts look but I can't get enough of it. I'm sure you guys think I'm crazy and I probably am. Anyway, this is good stuff:
  10. Luis Gonzalez's duckfart over a drawn-in Yankees infield off Rivera. Kirk Gibson's homer defied everything. Looking at the replay, it's always unfathomable to me how that ball got out. The swing looked so weak and awful. I bet if Gibson had 100 chances to do it again that night, he couldn't do it.
  11. Sign Adley long term. Sign Gunnar long term. Braves just locked up Strider long term.
  12. I’d rather have our season and miss the playoffs by three games instead of getting our hearts ripped out like the Jays did yesterday. Couldn’t have happened to a better franchise though. I hope it was as miserable for them and their fans as it looked.
