  1. I give @wildcarda lot of crap but he's a good poster. I wish I had an ounce of his positivity when it comes to all things Orioles related. Well done, WC!
  2. Maybe a better defender than Stowers. But I think Stowers has better OBP skills, for sure. 66 games at AA Bowie in 2018, Hays went .242/.271/.432 for a .703 OPS 288 plate appearances 66 games (yes, they both played 66 games in AA Stowers went .283/.377/.561 for a .938. 276 plate appearances 2018 for Hays was after his big 2017 campaign at AA where he had a .960 OPS. I can't remember the excuses for the big fall off in performance, I'm assuming it had to do with injuries or something. I think Hays is a good player, I just don't deem him as necessary. Wouldn't hesitate to include him in a trade if we get back something good.
  3. Yes, step by step learning is terrible. And yes we can throw everyone on the major league roster and ask them to learn on the fly. In case you haven't noticed, there's no pressure here in Baltimore, comfortably 40+ games out of first place. I mean, just because we say so on a message board must mean we're correct. Duh.
  4. I'm a believer that he's a pretty good player when he's on the field.
  5. I don't disagree with this, but I was more interested in the rate states instead of the counting numbers.
  6. It's possible. No one knows for sure. I don't trust Hays at all. Too many questions about hitting RHP consistently, not enough OBP skills and he's never too far from the IL. He's fun to watch, he brings energy but I'd try to shop him this offseason for sure. Sorry, Frob.
  7. Trade him, make room for the guys coming up behind him. Santander, too.
  8. Ooof. Palmer stumbling through the questions. Dropped the “disabled” word, a big no-no in this day and age.
  9. Whatever helps you find comfort.
  10. Does that change that the Ravens lost?
  11. I hope Valaika can hit a few homers to bring @wildcardsome joy.
  12. Happy to see Hyde, no matter how bad this team is, not taking anything from anybody. Hopefully that spreads down to the players, too.
  13. What's the biggest increase they've had in spending from year to year?
  14. What's important to you about receiving clear and direct answers from people that are in charge of your favorite sports team? What impact would clear messaging from someone like Elias have on your fan experience?
  15. I read your reply. So what would finding it refreshing have done for you?
  16. Of course no one else has this data. The Orioles have a double top secret data set that has them head and shoulders above all other ML teams and their evaluations.
  17. Does @Can_of_cornwant to grace us with his presence and complain about prospects not being promoted fast enough?
  18. I think there are going to be a lot of GMs who would be wary to trade for Mullins this offseason, simply because of the fear that he could be a one year wonder. If he's playing at this level next year or at a similar level, he's for real and I think there'd be more interest. That said, I don't see this franchise trading him.
  19. Ok. And what would that have done for you?
