    Miguel Cabrera

Three years left on his deal. He has a decent chance at ending up in the top 10 all-time in RBI and 3000+ hits.
  2. Don’t have the link, but I read that MLB is considering a four city bubble approach to the playoffs to reduce the risk of another Miami/ St Louis situation.
  3. I don’t think the Pujols contract was as bad as the Hamilton and Wilson deals. A terrible deal for sure, but one of many bad moves when trying to build around Trout.
  4. Do you think the Nationals regret the Scherzer deal?
  5. He’s getting cut from my fantasy team, that’s for damn sure.
  6. Hear me out. I watch tv through Hulu. It recommended a show called Marrying Millions. Yes, it is on Lifetime. It’s about rich people dating poor people. Well, this lady was dating her daughter’s friend. It was Hamilton’s ex-wife. She said her net worth is $10M, which is wild considering Hamilton signed a $75M deal. It’s a train wreck.

    Bundy in L.A.

Eight innings, nine k’s, one run in Seattle.
  9. Hard to get him in that lineup. Probably better off working out at the satellite site.
  10. Is this the year to trade prospects to chase a World Series that may or may not be played?
  11. Ryan Lavarnway, come on down. You’re the next contestant on Who Wants to be a Marlin.
  12. He’ll probably get some more rest now.
  13. Case in point, last year’s WS champion. Most were saying they should have traded off Rendon, Scherzer, and others before the deadline. That team has let their soon to be FAs play to the end of their contracts (Rendon, Zimmermann, Desmond, Harper, etc) and have been very successful.
  14. Lorenzo Cain is now out along with a MIami 2B who has not tested positive (didn’t catch his name).
  15. It’s not the same as the Orlando complex. Everyone in there is tested, they live there, eat there, etc. Arizona’s complexes are in towns with other people. Some are an hour and 20 minutes apart. They wouldn’t be able to have the same controls in place as the NBA.
  16. 2005 Orioles C-Lopez 1B - Palmeiro SS -Tejada 3B Mora CF - Matos RF - Sosa Bonus: The rotation was all non-American from five different countries. (Yes, I know that Bedard is not of Latin decent. And neither was Chen though he was born in Panama)
  17. I agree with this. The NBA has done an excellent job, but the sport has a lot of built in advantages that baseball doesn’t have. Not only do the have three courts where they can get 6 games in a day, NBA teams don’t play everyday. So you can get by with six games a day as opposed to the 15 you need for MLB on a typical day.
  18. Last playoff spot comes down to two teams. One is 24-21, the other 31-29. Who goes?
  19. Cardinals and Brewers postponed. Unknown amount of Cardinals have tested positive. No Marlins, Phillies, Nationals, Blue Jays, Brewers, or Cardinals playing today.
