  1. Garcia went on the IL with a bad elbow. What are the expectations going forward this year other than possible TJS?
  2. The MVP is basically a WAR race now, it wasn't in the 90's. Unfortunately, Judge is usually the WAR leader when he's healthy.
  3. His fastball last night lost a ton of velocity from 95 to 91.
  4. I wonder if Gil has hit a wall. 4.1 IP, 4H, 5ER, 4BB, 2K, 1HR. Cole got destroyed last night also. I wonder if he's going to hold up all season.
  5. I don't really care who wins it. I'm more entertained that the Yankees will have to use a position player for the 2nd straight Gil start. Gunnar will be fine as long as he stays healthy.
  6. I was joking, he pulled it down the line. Not that I have any worries at all about him pulling balls in OPACY, enough of them will clear it when he gets into one.
  7. Yeah he'll end up being the only huge man to be an elite hitter into his 40's or something stupid. It feels like he'll never slow down.
  8. Judge just got his 30th. On pace for 62 again. If he pulls that off he's winning the MVP.
  9. Guess the rain delay didn't hurt the Mets. 10-2 in the 6th. Low Leverage Judge with his 30th.
  10. I think we see him before the deadline. There is nothing Kjerstad can prove in a SSS at the ML level that is going to skew his trade value.
  11. Their starting pitching outside of Bibee is suspect as hell. Those relievers are getting abused but damn, they have 4 guys that would be our best reliever most likely.
  12. He's a mid 4 FIP guy so that's not great. He's got okay statcast numbers in a few categories but nothing that screams this guy is going to be an excellent pitcher. He's under control for a long time and getting shelled in AAA, not sure what his deal is.
  13. Lucky for us Cleveland pitched their best relievers in 4 of the past 5 games. Yes, we did better against their absolute worst relievers.
  14. Right, Mayo has not shown that he would have to be a platoon hitter. He hits everyone.
  15. Yeah I'm certain it wasn't his best start of the year. Cleveland puts the ball in play, he did a good job of getting fast outs, made a couple of mistakes and had some balls smoked right at people. If he can do that every start I'll take it though.
  16. Agreed. The solo shots rarely kill you, though, he said the pitch Noel hit was a "tip your hat", looked pretty damn fat to me lol.
  17. He's under control through 2027 which is also a bonus. Lots of walks and hits but can strike guys out. I wouldn't give up a ton for him, though. I still don't get why the Angels aren't letting him stay up, but he's getting roughed in AAA. 8HR in 24IP.
  18. Yeah, his power is nutty. I'm not worried about the LF wall when he pulls the ball.
  19. 376 to LF in OPACY is a shallow fly ball!
  20. That HR tonight is a lazy flyball at OPACY. He needs more power training to conquer Walltimore. Just kidding, I would bet he's up in the next couple of weeks.
  21. Yeah, I honestly don't see it with Detmers but maybe I'm missing something.
  22. I like Estevez and Nardi a lot, I'm not sure what you see in Detmers other than age, I guess. He'd be a solid enough 3/4 if he doesn't cost a lot.
  23. That's a lazy fly ball in OPACY.
  24. I'm in NY and praying for steady rain.
  25. The visiting team has in fact made 15 outs. The game is indeed official.
