  1. Another 2 BBs tonight out of the lead off spot. His OBP is .180 higher than his avg through 60+ PAs. He’s quietly having an amazing start to his career. 25 BBs to 11Ks so far. Impressive.
  2. Yea Ceddie!!!! … what are you doing Ceddie!!!!
  3. Bigger bases helps us as well. It’ll be interesting to see if steals increase with the distance between bases being shortened a little bit.
  4. This will reward teams that focus on defense. I believe it will help the Os.
  5. Haskin hit #15 tonight. Sneaking towards that magic 20HR number that will get some people excited. He’s been streaky on season, but has improves from last year and now sits with a very respectable .823 OPS. 7 years ago and we’d be going crazy for this guy.
  6. I really like his all fields approach to hitting. He has some sneaky pop. He can absolutely pick it. I havnt seen the arm on display yet. Not weak, but haven’t seen that Mateo zing on his throws. Another hit/rbi tonight in first AB of the game.
  7. 3 BBs tonight. Nice to see him stay with-in himself after a couple good nights at the plate.
  8. I think the more interesting comparison moving forward is Gunnar vs. Witt. Adley might just turn out to be icing on the cake.
  9. Having a flexible space was one of my take aways from the design concept when it came out. It would be very easy to change and potentially add primo seats.
  10. There was a 14 year losing streak. The Expos moved from Montreal and became the Nationals. The Nationals won a World Series in the middle of the 5 year losing streak that came shortly after the 14 year losing streak. There was also a global pandemic. It’s gonna take a lot more than 3.5 out in the WC race to put butts in seats on a Wednesday with school in session.
  11. I have an uneasy feeling in my elbow while watching him pitch any inning.
  12. I’ve tried so hard to forget. That series was so frustrating.
  13. Manoah is peppering the edge (inside, out, up, down)of the zone with all his pitches. If Os get away with somehow only throwing Wells & Kremer, that would be a long term win. Especially with some days off coming up.
  14. A lot you can do with 9 outs. I understand the whole “be more patient” approach, but when a pitcher is on his game, he isn’t going to put you on base. You have to identify good pitches and attack. You have to hit your way to the win. There have been some pitches to hit, guys got good hacks, and came up short. Not too many swings on pitches way outside of the zone. They are just missing the few mistakes he’s throwing.
  15. Doesn’t look like starting in the 3rd effected Kremer much. I’ve been bearish on him all season, but starting to really believe in his stuff.
  16. Holiday might be getting hot. Two doubles so far tonight after a double and 2 BBs last night.

    Coby Mayo 2022

What a bomb. I think he is going to go off next year and make a big name for himself. He’s put up a good season with a bunch of nagging injuries.
  18. I was just about to ask if NY relies on local broadcast/camera work, or it they have their own system.
  19. I think just a little rusty - and at this point tired. 25+ pitches in one inning is a lot.
