  1. I feel like if Davis got in there would a slight chance he’d get booed at the induction ceremony.
  2. I was down at IMG last weekend and watched him pitch Friday night. He was 91-92 with solid control and a good looking slider. Only gave up a couple hits but nothing barreled, or even pulled for that matter. He has the frame. 6’3” with long limbs and runs well. Very impressive athlete. He hit everything hard while batting. His pitching performance was impressive, but the hit tool and athleticism really stood out. On a field worth a ton of good players he stood out as head and shoulders above the group. He has a body type/skill set that is super projectable. He was also originally a 2025 guy but reclassed to be eligible for the 2024 draft. Might be youngest in the draft class.
  3. It seems there is finally something the OH can completely agree on.
  4. Listening on radio. That hit was loud.
  5. 18+ IP w/o giving up a run. Could dip under 3.0 ERA tonight.
  6. Normal. Heat helps blood flow.
  7. As someone born in 1980 I have no clue what it’s like to watch your team play in the WS.
  8. And maybe his off-season routine is why he played in less than 150 games only 3x in his 14 year (not counting 2020) career. He found a way to post & put up numbers. He was worth every $ he was paid. Can’t say that about many players.
  9. High fastballs when you think a guy is bunting.
  10. Urias’ OPS is right in line with the rest of the teams SLG%.
  11. BBQ down left field line is legit.
  12. 81 IP of 3.20 ERA. Not too shabby, for sure.
  13. Kimbrel hasn’t looked right all year. He’s been wild in the zone and his fastball is down 1.9 Mph on the season with his usage at a career high. If you look at his statcast usage visual graph, you’ll see why. His curve is all over the place and even when he located it low & outside of the zone (where it should be) it’s getting hit hard. Couple that with a fastball that has no command and is 1.9 ticks lower than last year and you have yourself a disaster that’s been waiting to expose itself all year.
  14. For sure. I was thinking the same thing.
  15. After 25 pitches in one inning is the danger zone. Can’t keep someone out there and risk injury regardless of situation.
