1. Acuna was named the player of the year. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2017/09/06/minor-league-player-year-braves-prospect-ronald-acuna-improves-every-level/633376001/
2. Arrieta says cramps, but guess we will see if he makes his next start: http://www.csnchicago.com/chicago-cubs/now-least-cubs-and-jake-arrieta-breathing-sigh-relief-after-hamstring-injury
3. Castro is a fun pitcher to watch when he is on, especially when his fastball is on and moving like it was tonight. And that slider was nice too!
4. I for one have never understood the disdain with bumped threads. If it really does bother you, maybe just look at the date of the OP? As Art said the lack of strikeouts is concerning, but I am glad to see he keeps getting the job done.
5. Really a laugher when Caleb plays 3B (think I saw that in the box score). Something interesting to note, Caleb has been worth 1.6 War and Beef 0.6. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/j/josepca01.shtml https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/castiwe01.shtml
6. After going 2 for 4 last night Nick is slashing .308/.392/.406, not bad, not bad at all.
7. Gallardo is the only healthy starting pitcher for the Mariners from their original rotation this year. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/somehow-things-just-got-even-worse-for-the-mariners-rotation-with-iwakuma-injured/
8. SSS but his splits don't look bad either. .891OPS on the road.
9. That would be fantastic and it sounds like the durability might be a bit better than Bedard.
10. Ummmm....may I present you with the Baseball reference player of the day:

With 103 HRs allowed at Camden Yards, today's PotD is Sidney Ponson https://t.co/WWy9icqgii pic.twitter.com/s8mtIXqDqn
— Baseball Reference (@baseball_ref) September 15, 2016

11.

I am sure, I could feel your pain, sorta... So glad it worked out for the best (well I am sure the best would be without the break, but you know what I mean).

12. And his slash line is now: .308/.308/.308. That has to pretty tough to do. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/a/andinro01.shtml
13. Who is that? Guy on the left looks like Brian Denney. Edit: With a mustache
14. So the players we trade away are human, well that is nice. And kinda makes Bundy's last outing, not look so bad.

Mychal Givens

I guess 30 pitches is his cap? I wanted out for one more, but guess that would have been pushing him too far...
16. If true, the physician definitely has some responsibility in this.
17. Giving some benefit of the doubt, which is exactly what I think you are advocating?
18. Not have the illegal substances in my system. I abide by the guidelines set forth as we all have too. The debate is interesting. Stop with the childlish personal attacks. It's useless.
19. My personal education on OTC's has nothing to do with this. Very difficult to require constant moving people to have one source for meds. Offseason, all star break, LOA, etc...
20. I agree with holding teams responsible too. Don't agree he should assume anything and most likely is educated enough to know better. Meds in the club house do nothing to solve the problem when the players are not there.
21. Right. He is not a kid who just fell off a boat.
22. Guessing this guy bats left and hates phones?

24. Single bullet, eh? Did he have a wooden gun too maybe?
