  1. I have to admit that I was a goofy guilty pleasure of mine to watch. So stupid but somehow enjoyed it. That and Herman’s head. As for Hammer, we do need to get him for the name alone!
  2. He rose to the occasion on that one!
  3. So I went to look at the box score to see who the RF was and its some guy named Feliz? But it brought up another question. Hays only had one at bat before being replaced by Feliz, is he hurt again? https://www.milb.com/gameday/tides-vs-railriders/2019/06/19/575753#game_state=final,lock_state=final,game_tab=box,game=575753 Edit: Should have just checked the minors thread first, I see he pulled up with a tight hammy.
  4. Is it bad that I first saw this on Bob Menery instagram?
  5. Don’t make me go all @atomic on you and tell you about my glory days in basketball when I could bump someone 50 yards off the court! Ok, that wasn’t me. But I still get why people and the umps are upset. You give a little....
  6. Yea, I guess. And an incidental bump, who cares. But does an accidental bump become more if allowed? In the major sports, probably not. But I get why some are upset. If.....he truly bumped the ump. I am honestly not even sure about that
  7. It is astonishing isn’t it? But back to Manny. I’ve watched the video, I do think he bumped the ump (with intent I don’t think....), But is that everyone’s general consensus? If so, one game does seem lite.
  8. Well part of that was probably your super human brain power with the ability to mask the pain.
  9. Not sure the copy/paste works for embedding from a phone, at least it never has for me (iphone).
  10. While Gausman was sucking it up, Markakis broke out of a slump and had 4 hits last night including his 5th HR. Guess he will keep his starting spot for a bit longer....
  11. I still root for former O's, especially the recently jettison one's and some who have been gone a while like Nick. Recently, I have been checking the box scores regularly for Arizona (Jones and Walker), Minnesota (Schoop), SanDiego (Machado) and Atlanta (Nick and Gausman) and Los Angeles (because well Trout, WAR be damned). Checking Atlanta's box score has been very disappointing for quite a while. Hopefully Nick turns it around soon and Gausman finds his typical second half form.
  12. He is hitting exactly .247 again currently. I am so rooting for him to do it again this year. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/d/daviskh01.shtml
  13. First chance I have had to see him pitch, always just kept missing him and finally saw a few of those invisiball change-ups everyone has been mentioning and they were fun to watch, but sure seemed like he was throwing more fastballs than I expected. I guess you can't let them sit on the change..... Happy we have an arm performing this well, will try to be sure to catch a few more of his starts.
  14. Corey Kluber has a fracture in his right arm: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/05/corey-kluber-indians-fractured-forearm-ulna-comebacker.html
  15. Thanks. Just was amazed by the movement. I’m glad he is doing well.
  16. Another derail. What was that pitch Tyler Wilson threw you tweeted about earlier? Almost looked like a knuckle curve. Any idea? I agree with @Philip really enjoy all your contributions. Thx.
  17. I had one of those! You really couldn’t pull the limbs off no matter how hard you tried! Sorry for the derail. I am amazed by all these moves. All O’s should be notice that their time could be short I guess. Hyde is gonna he pointing a finger at some point and saying hey you! Yes you! Your up! (Whispers to Long, what’s that guys name again?).
  18. I was intermittently listening and watching this afternoon and was hoping to hear what the outcome was, but didn’t get to check again until now, so thanks for posting this! The baseball gods better not take away one of the very few bright spots for this year!!!
  19. I heard Tony on the Fan this morning and I believe they said he would be on every Thursday with Haynie and Vinnie. Not sure if it will always be the same time, but was around 1130am today I think....
  20. He threw 80 pitches and his arm didn’t fly off, his knee didn’t explode, didn’t even get a hangnail that we know of. For now, isn’t that the accomplishment. ?
  21. Wait, wait....didn’t you say something similar about people on this board and Machado not getting 300 million? Can you assure us we are idiots to think we will be in the World Series within a year or two? Thx.
  22. Luis Severino was scratched from his scheduled Grapefruit League start Tuesday due to right shoulder discomfort. Per the Yankees' official Twitter account, Severino "will undergo further evaluation and examination" on Tuesday afternoon. This is obviously rather ominous news, but it's not worth speculating about the severity or a recovery timetable until more information is available. Severino had some issues with his shoulder in 2017, though that proved to be a big breakout year for the Yankees' young ace. https://www.rotoworld.com/baseball/mlb/player/20356/luis-severino
  23. Is this supposed to be an Oxymoron? ?
