Does anyone enjoy watching a 17+ inning game? I don't. I go to bed. They tend to disrupt the pitching staffs of both team. I'd rather they not happen and if a runner on second stops it from happening so be it.

He might very well be. I will say that it looks to me like his defense has taken a step back this year even if his offense has clearly improved.

Does anyone ever not say that they are working hard on offense and defense? I think my defense is pretty good so I've just been trying to work on my offense- Said no one ever. I'm kinda lazy and spend most of my non-game time playing X-box. I mostly just rely on my natural ability- Also said by no one ever. I don't mind that players say these things, but I don't think us fans should put a lot of weight in the comments.

I'm not lighting torches about it now that Smith is off the roster. I was saying there is a valid reason to bring Diaz up. I'm not at all sure you can get a lot out of three months of what they are doing at Bowie. It must be pretty difficult for those guys to keep their intensity level up.

The reason to start his clock is that he can develop better playing actual games against ML opposition than he could taking glorified batting practice against a small group of pitchers.
