Oh sure. I would have much rather have kept Miller than O'Day and said as much at the time. The money they gave O'Day would have paid for a fair bit of Miller.

It implies that the Latin players on the team are some sort of separate entity, separate from the rest of the team, that have a need to have a leader just for them. Like they can't function properly within the rest of the team dynamic. Also that they aren't individuals and it is also kinda rude to assume none of the non-Latin players could be bilingual.

Why? As I've said before if his last name had been Smith would anyone had been hankering for him to have been called up? If he hadn't done anything with the Giants would anyone be hankering for him to have been called up? I would not be surprised to find out that the 2019 Norfolk team had had an equivalent player that no one was championing.
