I don't get it why guys complain about hitters swinging at strikes. Are you supposed to just fall behind in the count? How often does that work out? I'm guessing here but I think the average result when a guy swings at a first pitch strike is better than the outcome when they fall behind 0-1.

He's kinda hilariously slow. Considering his lack of foot speed, high EV and low launch angle I'm shocked he doesn't hit into more double plays.

It's the perception. Even if Mullins was super into fried chicken and loved talking about it you wouldn't ask that question. By no means am I upset about it or trying to make a deal out of it, but I wouldn't have done it. I'm also unsure why you think it's a false equivalency, but probably best not to delve deeply into that.
