  1. I'm pretty OK. That one was fair.
  2. I remember the thinking more along the lines that they had a rotation full of #3's but I'm more interested in who you think were the two #5 starters based off of what they did that season. They had 5 guys with an ERA between 3.23 and 3.65. League average ERA was 3.74 that season.
  3. But the O's aren't playing the AL East, they are playing the AL West.
  4. If he's unavailable what difference does it make if he was with the team or not? Hyde going to suddenly force him into the game after declaring him unavailable? What kind of manager would do that?
  5. The question part was pointless but not a rant. Suddenly talking about releasing McKenna was the rant part.
  6. This wasn't hard for me to find. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/baseball/news/orioles-cedric-mullins-out-for-personal-reasons/ It was also discussed here.
  7. We don't even know that Means will be back this season. Setbacks happen. He's advancing and that's great but you can't expect anything out of him.
  8. They could have paid the slightest bit of attention and known that Mullins was not available before posting a rant. I could see someone thinking that was downvote worthy.
  9. I say that Westburg should be in the majors based off of what he's accomplished in the minors. Are you disagreeing with that? How often do you see a player with his resume that still has prospect eligibility? It's not a matter of what is or isn't working. If you are comparing the Braves and the Orioles ability to develop prospects and are using prospects lists as evidence how they handle promotions needs to be considered.
  10. Let's be honest here, the Braves has promoted players to the majors that Elias would still have in the minors. The Orioles should have fewer folks on these lists.
  11. Probably? Do you trust the official measurements? I don't. Anyway other data came out saying 3 ballparks.
  12. He didn't know what to say but he couldn't resist responding.
  13. That reminds me of the story Lou Holtz had about Notre Dame alumni.
  14. Better than I expected and pretty impressive overall.
  15. I've been expecting a Fangraphs piece. Ended up with one on Gunnar instead.
  16. Well we know if they have a comeback win it will just lead to fights and we wouldn't want that.
  17. I don't have the data on hand but I think Davis had 6 walks during that stretch.
