  1. I was at the game 3/1 against the Blue Jays. There was very little in the way of in game action (the Orioles didn't record their first hit of the game until the 9th inning). Jacksn did not look good on the only ball hit his way at SS. It was an easy double play ball that he was unable get out of his glove to make the flip to second, then double clutched and threw the ball high to first for the error, all runners safe. I remember thinking I never saw Manny do that the entire time he was here. Small sample size, but just thought I'd mention it since there was no radio or TV broadcast of that game.
  2. DirectTV STREAM is the only online service that offers MASN in-market that I am aware of. Looks like its more expensive than last season, over $99/month. I may be listing on 630AM this season at those prices.
  3. Correction: The Baltimore Sun lettering within the vintage clock atop the scoreboard has been removed along with the large THE SUN lettering.

  5. They may, there is still time. Those types of events fit the frugality model.
  6. I believe the 8,000 referenced in the article was from the 2019 FanFest at the convention center, prior to the 2019 baseball season. The 2019 Winter Warm-Up on Eutaw Street was held in December 2019. There were only a few thousand there, if that.
  7. 2019 Winter Warm Up on Eutaw Street was the last FanFest event I can recall. It was cold, rainy, and sparsely attended. https://www.mlb.com/orioles/fans/winter-warm-up
  8. The times are posted on the O's website. Looks like 4 Saturday games with 4:05 starts, and 10 non-weekend day-games with various starting times.

Engaging season. Thanks to Tony for keeping OH alive. See you all in Sarasota.
  10. We could still end up with the #1 pick, they are going to a draft lottery for all non-playoff teams. https://www.mlb.com/news/draft-rule-changes-with-new-cba
  11. I may go tomorrow, weather looks nice. I haven't been to a Nats game this year and I usually go when the Orioles are in DC or when someone offers free tickets. I very rarely go to Nats Park otherwise, way overpriced for everything inside and around the stadium.
  12. I haven't given up, sweep this weekend and anything could happen. Just win baby!
  13. During the 14 season losing streak, Steve was there for us on post game radio. Countless games driving home after another loss listening to Steve take calls, he made the drive home bearable, and entertaining. Jimmy from Silver Spring, Dave from Salisbury, Gueseppe from Rolland Park. They made that period very enjoyable as a fan. Thank you!
  14. Why are they playing in Boston tomorrow? I assumed make-up game but I don't see that on the schedule.
  15. I walked up the the ticket window an hour before a Sunday day-game vs the Angels last month and they issued a paper ticket as well. I did not request or ask for one. The cheapest ticket that day was $17.
  16. Great points all around. It's going to be an uphill battle, but I'll be watching and hoping.
  17. Non players: Proctor, Lowenstein, Reghi (Track, Wall...), Dave Johnson, Clancy Haskett, Tom Davis Players not previously mentioned: Sam Horn (First OPCY Run scored), Felix Pie (First OPCY Cycle), Sammy Sosa
  18. No disrespect to Trey, or his effort, but how was this not scored an error? I mean the ball was very catchable and it bounced off the fielders face.
  19. It was nice to see the large crowds again, I watched at home in the air conditioning. The glaringly empty LF upper deck area desperately needs to be repurposed though.
