I'll give them points for creativity. If Felix and Harvey aren't awful in ST, I am fine starting the season with Means, Kremer, Aiken, Hernandez, and Harvey.
In news that doesn't mean much, the Orioles won the Santander arbitration. Heyman tweeted that this might make him more attractive to the Marlins. Hopefully, this further cements the Orioles desire to not trade Santander as a "salary dump."
I feel like as was the case last year, third base is Ruiz's job to lose. I expect a Millone/LeBlanc signing or two and they'll go to ST with that. I'd be pleasantly surprised if they sign Franco and take a flyer on an Archer-type.
It's a good move if they are indeed reinvesting Cobb's salary into other areas of the team, i.e. international scouting, analytics, etc. Also just another indication that the team is crying poor and the Angelos' intend to sell.
Bundy, Iglesias, and now Cobb. Elias loves that Angels system (can't imagine we got much of anything, of course).

Bottom line: there is nothing to dislike about signing Galvis. Is there a ton to like? Not really. But I strongly prefer him to whatever SS currently on the 40 that would have started if not for this signing.
Hope so. I imagine the O's will want to se that 26th spot for an extra arm, extra useful bench player, and not have it clogged up with the baseball waste that is Chris Davis.
