Manoah was a rookie last year.. was it too much “pressure” for him? Lol. We Oriole fans seem to think guys like Manoah just appear on other teams but not ours because we haven’t had one since Mussina. In his second year, Grayson will outpitch Manoah’s second year which is this year, imho. Either way, only way Elias goes for a TOR is via the trade route imho and that will remain to be seen. I would much rather have a big time bat if I have to choose. plus a healthy Means who has two seasons with WAR of 4.4 and 3.7 match up just fine with an aging Gausman next year. And it is not clear to me what the ceilings are just yet for Bradish and Wells.

Well Manoah was not Manoah until he surfaced in the last year. Manoah was 11th pick in 2019 draft out of WVA.. yes he is good, but Grayson was better than he was in minors and will be just as good if not better than him as early as next year. Grayson will be a TOR.

We have had our challenges with bad teams.. but the fact us, if you start needing sweeps, then it is likely not happening

A mathematical elimination kind of view… it is true ..Toronto could be on the verge of a long losing streak while we win a bunch in a row .. but I wouldn’t bet much money on it.

The offense is not high level competitive yet. The pitching is actually closer for next year than the offense.

This is the team we all expected to see this year and seldom have.

Hitting slumps can take more time to resolve than just having a good pitching performance the next day after a bad one.. but of course they could score 12 runs the next two games lol

No to the first which is pretty silly .. Yes I do and cheered him as I have recalled every positive Oriole contribution since my first game in 1965 .. and Chris also hit many homers in ninth innings of long over games. Not a negative necessarily at all .... just an observation
