  1. Not three ball to Odor, the one hit to Stanton was shallow but not just off the IF.
  2. I agree, but you have to take a chance with Stanton in RF. He’s been a regular DH and as McDonald pointed out, he hasn’t had many reps out there.
  3. There’s no mistaking Wynns for a bat first catcher.
  4. Urias not exactly dazzling with his defense tonight.
  5. Two games in a row Hyde has used Wells in high leverage that wasn’t the 9th.
  6. I have seen every pitch, so I take a different view.
  7. Looks like we get to watch Scott next inning. I wonder which Scott we’ll see.
  8. How does Urias not get an error on the dropped pop up? That has to be caught.
  9. The throw by Hays beat Judge, but Jones screwed up the tag.
  10. Watching Urias (or, really anyone) at 3B reminds me of how I don’t miss M Franco.
  11. I thought the defense (or lack thereof) was what prevented the Orioles from promoting him sooner. To me, he’s very athletic and rangy for a guy who looks so solidly built. Now, the bat? That’s another story, but he looks better than Martin just standing in the box.
  12. I don’t disagree. I’d just like to see him get to the point where he’s not swinging at that last pitch.
  13. Didn’t stop him from swinging at a non-competitive pitch in his last AB. Last pitch was six inches above the zone. Romano does throw 98, though.
  14. I’m impressed with his bat speed. Quick hands. And he’ll drive it opposite field, too.
  15. Don’t think I’ve seen him lose his temper like he did tonight after that last AB. Sounds odd to say it was good to see, but he was justified.
  16. Well, I’m not gonna take the easy way out and delete the thread. But man, for a guy with good velocity and movement he’s pretty disappointing. If Coc comes in here to dunk again I’ll turn tail.
