  1. His statements are not immutable law? Good to know.
  2. Santander? He’s been hitting like he’s been hurt the whole season.
  3. Brown thinks he’s doing stand up. Yeah, you’re killing, dude.
  4. That’s a welcomed quick inning. This Cano kid is alright.
  5. Here we go, it’s Brown cultural reference time.
  6. One of the runs charged to Akin is unearned , yea?
  7. Eh, sure, but Akin wasn’t good and Baumann just gave up a bomb to Nevin? Not good.
  8. Well, I guess the pen was due for a bad night?
  9. Did you see him in the second half last year? His numbers were much better along with improved pitch selection (using the slider more). He has starter stuff. Sure, he needs to be more consistent, but it’s early to just give up on him.
  10. Right, Bradish is awful based on that one start, huh?
  11. Mountcastle needs to pull the ball more. Ok, that’s for Frobby.
  12. Alright, the batted balls chart does show quite a bit out there. I didn’t see that at first look. If he keeps going that way it’ll pay off.
  13. I’m not talking about hits, I mean will he shift his approach the RCF gap or RF wall instead of losing HRs to the LF wall at Camden Yards. The chart shows only one to RCF and another which was kind of a fluke down the RF line. If he tries to drive the ball to right he has plenty enough power to hit HRs there.
  14. He’s a 4A guy. Can they use him? Sure, injuries happen.
  15. Sure, but he has enough power to change his approach and still hit bombs to RCF. Will he?
  16. Exactly this. Mountcastle is utterly replaceable. And the others, including Mateo, are blocking guys who need to be on the ML team.
  17. Pitching. Pitching is what they need. An AS quality SS possibly packaged with a prospect or two may bring them back an ace. Again, pitching. Starting pitching. Because….any potential Gibson had is about five years past due. The other guys? Sure. I’m willing to wait and see, but none of them (including Rodriguez) is an ace. Gibson has never been that.
