Oh I agree on Severino. But enough people have stated the same thing. But more people give Sisco a pass. Both are awful.

If you squint with one eye and close the other, then yes. But truthfully, no, I don’t think Cumberland is. But if Sisco can get a shot, then so can Cumberland, who was also a highly touted prospect. I’d rather see him than Sisco.

Let’s help develop pitchers by giving them competence behind the plate.

They both are equally awful. But a lot of people have been open about Severino while a lot say “oh, give Sisco a shot and see what he can do.” That’s the harp. Also, he doesn’t share my pain.

Games. At this point, let Brett Cumberland play.

I want to see if Sisco continues to struggle and people continue to say “give him time!” I want to see how Mullins does this season after sticking to being a left handed hitter only. Mancini, for obvious reasons. Both Rule 5 guys and how they are used.

His ankle injury during the Texas series was all luck too.

The roster is coming together slowly. While the pitching staff is now set(ish), we will wait on the roster players.

Chirinos has the wrist surgery going on, so he wouldn’t be available for a while longer anyway. Taylor would be an interesting reclamation project as, like Ciuffo, he was a high prospect but has worked his way down.
