Means and Irvin are the definition of crafty lefthanders. They will give teams fits. Velocity isn’t always everything especially if you are a LHP.

I feel vindicated… I still believed in Irvin even after the hot trash start. He had a track record. Many on here completely gave up on him.

I'm a bit down on Cedric... but I hope he turns it around he's one of my favorite O's.

2014 was basically 5 solid but not spectacular pitchers. Tillman was the best of the lot and was quite good that year. The best teams have lots of depth and in 2014, depth was our biggest strength. Obviously we have tremendous depth now too.
