Rowand One Step Closer to Leaving Philly

Not really surprising, since Gillick said resigning him was a long-shot anyways, but Aaron Rowand has put his house here up for sale, according to Philly.com

On a local sports talk show this afternoon they mentioned a rumor that has him going to San Francisco. I think he's a good player with a great attitude, but I can't see him getting the 5 year deal he wants -- especially if he keeps mashing his face into outfield fences.

Rowand doesn't have a name that sells tickets, his age is questionable, and he is working off of a very select few career years. Couple all of that with the fact that he will cost a lot of money and you have to think that Rowand will end up in a big market somewhere where they can eat his cost without having the back end income of his name getting fans.

My prediction is Huston after they fail to make any other big moves.
