  1. Hey, walk off on crazy bouncer by Odor! lol
  2. I mean Odor. Then again, Odor stinks.
  3. Sounds like it was a knuckler which can be tricky! Glad to see he stuck with it!
  4. Gotta love that Rutschman energy after the innings!
  5. Knight has no velocity so McKenna's kind of pitcher!
  6. This is a good matchup for McKenna!
  7. I'm back from a 1000 mile motorcycle weekend to Niagra Falls. What did I miss? lol
  8. Let's face it, it's a lot harder for right handed hitters to hit home runs than left-handed hitters in Camden Yards now with Elias's Baltimore Monster wall deep in left. CF Druw Jones is highly considered the best prospect but hits right-handed, but the best high ceiling left-handed hitter seems to be SS Jackson Holliday. I can't see Elias taking Termarr Johnson even though he may be the best polished hitter overall, but Elias like those big EVs. Could Elias take Holliday, save a little cash, but get a guy who better fits into the stadium?
  9. Nah, the Hays play was completely different because it was a rocket shot right at the first baseman, absoultely nothing he could do. Mancini was a just brain fart. You dont take off for second on a bloop that may or not drop in that was barely past the infield dirt. It's just an awful, awful base running mistake and one that Mancini nwoudl certainly atest to that he royally screwed up. He's typically a heads up player so I'll just chalk that up to an honest mistake, but one that can never, ever happen again. The reason why you freeze on that play or take a step back is for the very reason is if it's caught's a double play. If it drops in and you get thrown out at second, it's only one out.
  10. In theory, yes, but in practicality bad body guys don't typically age well.
  11. There was a reason a guy the Dodgers spent over $40 million on was available for a rental.
  12. Gotta love baseball. I'm still headscratching off that Mancini play. Did he think with a good jump he was going to make 3rd with his wheels? lol
  13. I haven't looked at the standings in awhile, how are these "contenders" looking?
  14. So you're telling me the Orioles lost another games to the Yankees and only scored two runs? Weird! lol
  15. It sounds like control could be what's holding him back. It held hall back for a bit as well but he figured it out. Hopefully Baumler will to. I do find it disappointing that he's unable to compete in Low-A though.
  16. We are talking the Orioles rehab plan here. They could put a guy down for 30 days with a hangnail!
  17. I'm no fan of what they did to Camden Yards, but you gotta love Mullins' response. Yankees Stadium right field fence allowed a homer that had a .010 XBA. Now that's a joke. I have no issue with the Orioles changing their park to suit the way they want to build a team (I think we will see a lot of left-handed or switch hitters in the future), but i do think they went overboard with the distance, particularly to LC. I also hate the now giant wall as it takes away the intimacy with the fans. But yeah, the Yankees do come off as crybabies when they have a bandbox stadium.
