  1. Yeah, besides his PFP gaff that ultimately cost him a run, he's had a nice outing. He's only at 74 pitches so I imagine he's coming out for the 7th.
  2. I should downvote you just for mentioning that series..
  3. Odor.. 3-1 with RISP, pop up to short left. I will be happy when we no longer have players like this playing everyday.
  4. Elias' Great Wall of Baltimore cost his team another run.
  5. Uggh another Elias Great wall of Baltimore lost home run for the Orioles.
  6. 88 middle of the plate and Mountcastle fouls it off. C'mon man. Let's get it going. Patience is wearing thin on Mountcastle and Mancini.
  7. Hard to win when your offense sucks and your defense chokes. Or maybe it's the other way around with the way this team hits with RISP.
  8. Well there goes the defense starting to play like a clown show. First, it's just a comom PFP for Lyles. He's been in baseball way too long to miss the base. Mountcastle, good lord, Odor was even goingout where you need to throw the ball and he hits the guy in the head. Let's give some props to Odor this inning with some really good defensive plays.
  9. Yes, somehow when we switched servers it broke all the past links. I've go to try and get them fixed somehow. Sorry for the inconvienence.
  10. Bundy always sweated a ton though.
  11. Gutierrez passed through waivers and was outrighted to Norfolk.
  12. Notice the velocity of that high fastball "89 MPH".. Bannon struggles to hit good velocity up there.
  13. Now I like this move better! lol
  14. I'll be honest, I did not know that was a rule for the 60-day IL. Nice job pointing that out.

    KC Series

We all always have to pay for mild winters with extended March weather.
  16. Look at how happy everyone is when someone hits it's over Elias' Great Wall of Baltimore! Big boy home runs for sure.
  17. Hell of a throw there! Thanks for sharing the videos of the highlights. I missed last nights game.
  18. I'm not even sure this is a real question for the Orioles. Chirinos was signed to be the backup and while he's been awful at the plate, he's been good defensively and the team's pitching has been good when he catches for the most part. The real question is, who sits when Rutschman DHs or plays 1B when he's not catching (Mountcastle or Mancini)? Obviously the Orioles can play Mancini in RF (though he's not good) but then Santander, Hays or Mullins sits. I think Mancini may start to lose the most PAs with Rutschman's arrival though they'll probably spread them around.
  19. Yes, the wildcard jinx thread twhen the teams wins a few games. Pretty sure the Orioles are going to lose 8 straight now. lol
  20. I was following his GB rate because of the slow start and yes, it's not a good sign that he's striking out a ton and hitting more ground balls. it could be just some kind of funk, but the one draw back to drafting kids with great numbers from small conferences is that the talent he was facing was not very good. He hit better over his last 10 games but the K rate is still way too high.
  21. Nice observations. Look forward to you watching more games and giving your thoughts in the future! Hernaiz has looked much different at the plate and is hitting the ball with more authority than a year ago. He really looks like he's gotten stronger. Unfortunately he's got throwing issues. His arm is not SS strong, but he's really struggled with his accuracy on his throws whether that's from SS or 2B. The only thing I'll say about Willems is I can see why he couldn't make the team out of spring training. He looks over weight, over matched, and quite honestly, looks out of place on a professional diamond right now. It will be very interesting to see how he develops because I don't think he was very high on many teams radars yet the Orioles gave him $1 million over slot to sign him. Nice arm though and for now, he moves ok behind the plate but we'll see how that goes as he matures. De Los Santos is a guy to watch. Nothing is his stuff makes you go wow, but worth watching as he moves up the chain.
  22. Some folks were surprised i left him off the to-30 prospects last year after his 20-20 year, but there is just way too much miss and he really can't hit anything good offspeed. He can put a jolt into a fastball but he really needs to figure out the breaking/offspeed stuff.
  23. He has certainly slowed down. He's in the 30.5 percentile in MLB which means he's well below average runner now.
  24. Not sure what role he brings to the table other than perhaps filling in for Well's long/bulk inning role.
  25. BSLTheVerge liked his post back to you? Seems like the Fan boys are mad at you! Makes more sense now. I typically don't get involved with twitteriots like him, but if he wanted to talk numbers, at least he could get them right. We have over 20,000 members on the message board not the 500 he claimed.
