So if we say it has to include the DH, we are looking at AL only. Here are the teams at or above .500:
Houston, Yankees, Cleveland, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Boston, Texas and Oakland
Who needs a 1B or DH like Mancini among them?
I know if I was Davis, it would be me. Playing a game for a living. Getting all the opportunities to excel. No one benches nor fires you. And if you keep screwing up, you taking home millions anyway.
Last night was another one of those that I got to tease my Yankee fan friends. "Man, you guys should have lost again to us tonight. Lucky for ya'll, we gave you the game back". We are a bad team. Keep calm. It's a long game. Praying and hoping it works.
In regards to the talk of hiding things and not talking strategy, I have a question. If we have the number one overall pick, couldn't we just walk out there and say we intend to take Rutschman or whoever? What can the rest of the league do about it?
Maybe I should have asked, what the management's realistic goals are for Davis. I wonder what they think is the best case scenario for having him playing almost everyday?
So let's play optimist. What do you think is the best thing that can happen with Davis now? I'm sure we agree that he will not return to his glory days with the O's right?
