I wasn’t joking. Now I find myself just listening to the same stuff I have liked in the 70’s and 80’s. I go to Nashville once and month and hear a lot of great new artists while am there but it is hard for them to get it exposed to the masses. I have even helped fund a couple of CD’s by good friends I have known for 5 years down there.

I do miss the days where we all listened to the same 4 or 5 radio stations and we all got exposed to new music and artists the same way.

I guess I am just old!! I have no idea who these bands are.

To me you judge a MLB team in the end by their record. The Orioles are a better team than the White Sox because their Won loss record is better. We just swept a major league team in their ballpark, but for some people we didn’t beat them by enough runs. Brandon Hyde is not obsessed with veterans because of any other reason they have a proven track record. No one knows here if Stowers was playing everyday he would be doing any better than any of the veterans Hyde is supposedly obsessed with. Fans are obsessed with “backup quarterbacks” and young unproven players.

I know you are trolling us so I give you credit for pissing me off. NO ONE is saying the Orioles haven’t been cheap for a number of years. Their owner has been incapacitated for the last 5-6 years. If you haven’t heard he passed away and there is now a new owner. He bought the team on opening day. He didn’t have a ton of time to sign free agents or extend any of the young players. Lets give him a chance. The key player they should want to sign is Gunnar Henderson but he has this agent named Scott Boras who likes his players not to sign extensions but go to free agency. They can offer all they want but it takes two to tango.

Are you frustrated about winning 101 games last year or every 2 out of 3 we are winning this year? They sell little blue pills for your frustrations. Just check out all the commercials during the broadcasts.

Was acquiring Corbin Burns a cheap move? He is making more than just about anyone else on the team. They won 101 games last year and are winning 2 out of 3 games this year. I wouldn’t call this franchise destroyed. They had the highest payroll in the AL at times during Peter Angelos ownership and that didn’t translate into any Championships. Running a baseball team is more complicated than simply how much money the owner spends. If it wasn’t the Dodgers and Yankees would play each other every year in the World Series.

Yes the owner has been here two months and you have figured out he isn’t going to spend any money already? This isn’t fantasy baseball.

How is this a cheap move? Was getting Cano and Bautista a cheap move? So you want them to trade players like Holliday, Kjersted, etc for a one year rental like Soto? That would have not been a cheap move just a stupid one.

I looked at the wildcard standings and they are half of a game ahead of the Orioles. They have won 7 in a row and 15-6 in May.

Brandon Hyde makes ALL the great moves. That would have been over Cedric’s head!!

I think you are right but if somehow they don’t those three will hit at least 150 homeruns. There is not much you can do about that. If the Yankees win 110 games and the Orioles 101 we finish 9 games out. Is that a disappointing season for the Orioles? No not really.

If those three stay healthy all season then the Yankees are pretty much untouchable. Orioles just have to worry about themselves.

A team is as good as their record. Period. To say they are a middle of pack team is just silly.
